Nice restaurant and we were seated fast and got our food with 5 mins of ordering. We ordered ground beef chimichangas, first off the flavor of the beef was bland, no seasoning and the both were under cooked. Pink meat and almost raw. We got rice and Mexican corn. Both seemed like it was just out of a can again no seasoning. I ordered soft tacos to go. When I got to eating those later that night. I noticed the meat inside those were also under cooked. I would lot recommend this restaurant at all times it’s not like they were backed up on orders. The place was not busy. There is just no reason to be serving under cooked food to customers.

Stopped in with my partner for lunch and was pleasantly surprised how good it was! Options for food are plentiful, as well as drinks and libations from the bar. I got the chimichanga stuffed with shredded beef and it was gigantic! Chips and dip wee very good and staff was very friendly and attentive. This might become a new favorite!

Compared to other locations, North May Ave needs to work on their menu items. There seems to be a breakdown between the waiters and the kitchen. Been there twice and both times food was delivered incorrectly. Ordered chicken and rice burrito on both trips. First time was too cold to eat so we left. Waited a few months till some of the waiters from Pennsylvania locations moved to May avenue. Tried again to day and received chicken and bean burrito. At least it was hot today. Will be a long time before we return. Too bad, we really liked their food…

We have been going to the Penn location for years. This location has a nicer atmosphere, but the food wasn’t as good as the Penn location. The service was good and the menus of the two locations are identical. I’m sure we will return. Hopefully the food gets a little better over time to match the quality of the location on Penn.
I really like Casa Perico and first went in about 2008 to the 63rd st location and have eaten there a lot, so I was excited to try this new location.ordered the carnitas torta and it was pretty good, but a little on the greasy side. The fries and jalapenos were very good The table visits from management were a little too frequent and tended to interrupt our conversations, but we never were without anything we might have wanted or needed.I would give it 4 stars, but I really wish the trend of not having prices on menus would go away. In this case, their drink menu has no prices. Do I really have to guess the price? Why should I have to ask? Having prices listed for goods and services is reasonable, right?

I have been going to the original location on Penn for years. It's always great. And this is no exception. Great atmosphere. Delicious food that's ALWAYS right. Our server is fantastic! I believe his name is Jassar. He is great. I requeat him EVERYTIME! I recommend you do the same. Very friendly. Drinks are always full. He's always smiling. Great guy.
