2 years ago I did the private table for my wife for her birthday. She wanted to come back and try the. Regular restaurant, so I made reservations in advance. We showed up just a little bit early, knowing we may have to wait a little bit, not a big deal. We were set in front of a very drafty window, and it was 23° outside. We froze the entire time, making the overall experience of the restaurant less enjoyable. I ordered a drink from the bar after we were seated and it took thirty minutes to get the drink and they decided to change the way the drink was made without a discussion first, my wife ordered the 8 oz. Filet mignon at a medium and it was very much rare, slightly touching, medium rare, she did like the overall flavor of the food, the asparagus was a little undercooked, still kind of hard, i had gotten a medium rear.Ribeye was cooked perfectly, we had ordered calamari as an appetizer was cooked perfectly crunchy outside tender inside. Unfortunately, being so Ridiculously cold outside and being in front of a drafty window, my wife was freezing.She had her jacket wrapped around her legs because she was wearing a dress, and my jacket wrapped around her to try to keep her warm, causing me to be frozen through the process, making anything that we would have enjoyed less enjoyable. We had a discussion on the way home and we've done the private table, and we've now gone to the restaurant and tried that.And think that we've experienced it and probably won't be back. If anybody is looking to make reservations, I recommend you do so. But ask for a seat, not near a window. The history of the property is very interesting. The food is good.

I made dinner reservations for my husband‘s birthday. They charge a $25 deposit. We went to eat. The restaurant was nice. The atmosphere was great. But the food was not. I ordered the ribeye. It was extremely overcooked. I did bring this to my waiters attention and all he said was yeah sometimes that happens. I could not recommend this place.

If anyone ever wanted the most perfect spot to propose this is it hands down they are so helpful and really make the entire experience special they are so amazing

Thanksgiving meal was awesome and so delicious!! Only suggestion....make the rolls fresh and hot next year if possible. Cold hard rolls are no bueno. That would make it 110% perfect! Thanks for feeding my family today.

The food was not as good as last year. The service was a little slow and not as friendly. The food could have been warmer. We could have giblet gravy.

We arrived earlier than our reservation and were greeted as we approached the entry way. Staff provided excellent service and seated us immediately. The wait staff was great as well as our meal. We will be back!

We had a wonderful dinner at Castle Falls last night! The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. We appreciated that the staff didn't rush us. It was the perfect atmosphere to catch up with old friends and linger for a while. The restaurant is quiet and the unique building has a cool backstory. We highly recommend Castle Falls!
