Wow! Our service and meal was incredible! I had the chicken, but more importantly, the best Brussels I've had in quite a while. My mocktail (pleasantly pear) was fantastic. The old house vibe and cozy atmosphere was comfortable and unique. I loved it!

First off, if you are going on a weekend, be sure to make a reservation. I had a reservation, but still had to wait about 15 minutes beyond my reservation, which was fine... they were so busy.Jim, our server was amazing! Friendly, attentive and personable even though he seemed to be in charge of half the restaurant by himself. Our table was not in an ideal location, placed on the ramp in a walk way. I would recommend they remove this table. The place was really noisy and was difficult for a hearing aid reliant person to have a conversation, but again they were really busy. We arrived in time for brunch. Creme Brulee French toast was really good, though a bit pricey. I had two Pink Ladies (brunch cocktails) my total after tip was over $50. Not some place I will go regularly due to cost, but I will definitely treat myself again.

Made a reservation for 8:45pm on a Friday evening. We were coming from Amarillo TX to OKC over the weekend. Have 3 young kids including a toddler. Got there and there was no table available. Made us stand in the entrance where my toddler was out of control and people constantly in and out. Finally went to sit in the car and wait. Never got a table. Left and went to eat else where at 9:15pm because me son had a swim meet at 7am in Edmond the next morning and had to wake up very early. “If you don’t have a table please don’t make appointments”I chose this place over thousands of others and we were treated very poorly. Very rude and unfriendly staff

I usually have great meals here, so this experience is probably a one off but this was just not it today. The queso app was very oily served in a hot skillet but the cheese wasn’t melted or hot. I kept trying to give another chance but it turned into grey string cheese. Hubs meal was oily, he scrapped the batter off his chicken to eat it. My entree was also oily the meat was tough and chewy with too salty of a batter. Our waiter was great and took my meal off. Drinks were good.

As I am traveling through the area I found this restaurant that popped up as number one listing on my Google search in Oklahoma City. So I checked it out. The building itself is full of history and I love the fact the company that owns the restaurant has preserved its historic Art Deco design built in the 1920s. What was once a flowers shop is now home to a beautiful New American restaurant with excellent menu options. As a former chef I always look at the little things; the soup of the day, or their signature cocktails. If those little things are served well then you know the stars of the menu will also shine. Their cream of mushroom soup came out steaming hot which is an indicator that the kitchen pays attention and recognizes temperature control and etc. That was a good start. The soup was flavorful and the warm bread that was served aside, was a perfect match for a cold rainy day in Oklahoma City. That was followed by the main lunch course, the shaved prime rib sandwich with homemade aju sauce. The meat was topped off with what I think was a chimichurri blend of some sort, but it was delicious. Portions are large and we'll worth the buck.My only criticism is that I had to ask to be given a menu when I walked in and sat at the bar. Hence the four stars. It was in the middle of the day So I assume the shift change may have had something to do with that. But as soon as the menu was handed to me, they were very accommodating.I will definitely be going back if in the area again.
