Chelino's Mexican Restaurant (427 SW Grand Blvd, OKC)

March 9, 2025. This place gave me the worst food poisoning I've ever had in my life! It was so bad that I passed out for about 30 minutes and had to crawl into the shower. I will never order from here again!

I took my family to Chalino‘s for the enchiladas on Wednesday March 5, 2025 20 minutes after we got home my granddaughter started throwing up then my youngest grandson threw up as well and the rest of us have been using the restroom very often since we had beef, enchiladas, and chicken enchiladas has anyone else had this experience?

By far the best authentic Mexican restaurant in Oklahoma City

Parking is out of the line of sight for this very popular family restaurant. And there are signs of gang activity which the restaurant cannot control.
Recipes and food are good here! This is a cozy neighborhood restaurant. And they have a full bar, but also serve families with children easily. They may have live music at any hour. And they have food specials and drinks specials.
Nice place!

Parking: Parking has holes in the lot and no body inside the restaurant can see their car outside.

Kid-friendliness: They definitely like kids coming in and have special things just for kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: This has accessibility. Two disabled car spots by the door

The walls were filthy and the chips tasted like they were fried in really old grease.
When I showed the lady the dirty walls she told me they were too busy to clean them and then had the audacity to ask if my house was clean...btw, yes it is. Horrible place to go

We dine in, and got nothing but crap service.
I don't know if it was a bad day for the guy manager or what but you don't tell your customers they should order their food the way it comes, I asked for it to be made a certain way all the time and juan the old man that ran the Robison location told me about it . But my meal was all wrong so I notified our waiter and they said thier was nothing we could do about it so I told them to take it back and they still wanted me to pay for a meal that was not made to order correctly. Smh customers should not be treated this way and I bet if juan was thier this would not had happen.
