This may be my new favorite breakfast/brunch spot in OKC! Went on a Saturday at noon and we were sat pretty quickly. Service was great and the food was seriously SO good! I had the Chinook Benedict, my husband had the chicken fried steak, my friends had the coyote sandwich, Hungarian soup and Crab SOS. I took a bite of everyone’s food and it was ALL delicious! Highly recommend!

Food was so good, I can't remember what the dish was called, but i ordered empanadas, I think that's what it was called. The mimosa was good, and the coffee was excellent. Absolutely wonderful diner for those who want to feel like they're eating at a classic diner, but want a slightly elevated experience. The prices are good, the food is good, the service is extremely friendly. It is well lit with local art on the walls that is for sale and nice gentle music. It's a great place to take co-workers, your parents, or your grandparents.

My wife and I finally got the chance to try Classen Grill after wanting to visit for a long time. We were happy to see it reopened after being closed for COVID and beautifully remodeled. The inside looks very nice, clean, and welcoming.
We both ordered the chicken fried steak with hash browns. The portions were generous and the steak itself was very tender. My plate was a little on the salty side while my wife found hers to be a bit heavy on the pepper, but overall it was still very tasty, and the fact that it’s homemade from cubed meat is a nice touch. The hash browns were well-prepared, the gravy was excellent, and I really enjoyed my eggs cooked perfectly over easy.
For drinks, my wife had coffee (which she enjoyed), and I ordered a soda that came in a can, not quite what I expected from a sit down spot, and of course no refills. That said, I really appreciated the classy detail of water being served in capped glass bottles, something you usually see in French restaurants.
Service was a highlight. Our server was extremely helpful and friendly, and another staff member stopped by to check in and chat about the food, which made the experience feel personal and warm. Parking was plentiful, and getting in and out of the restaurant was easy.
Overall, a very good first visit. With a couple of small tweaks (like fountain drinks instead of cans and a the seasoning on the steak), this place could easily be five stars. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
