Arrived and there were only 3 other groups. One a single, one a group of 3 and the last 2 or 3. Took almost 15 minutes to get drinks, because other tables started arriving. 2 people behind the bar, but would not come onto floor to help. We arrived around 9:20 ish and our order wasn't taken until 9:40 or so. Once food arrived (20 ish minutes) our servicer asked if everything was okay and then spent the rest of his time with a larger group. Once we were finished eating we waited almost 15-20 trying to ask for check. Server was apologetic, but the fault doesn't completely lie with him. They needed help on the floor. I doubt the bartender was slammed with orders at 9:30/10:00 in the morning.

Called ahead of time to make sure we could dine in, after the lady who answered assured us they were open and she would see us soon we immediately made reservations. Upon arrival (15 min after said conversation) we were not greeted instead we were told by the person behind the bar that the kitchen was closed.

The restaurant is in the lobby of the hotel which we were a bit surprised at. It is not obvious when you are looking where it is since it is not a space you walk into. The check-in is behind a column not obvious. The seating is minimal for regular tables. Seating around the entire bar and some high tops. The noise level is not a quiet atmosphere but not real loud. The food was very delicious - flaming scallops were great. the entrees options gave a variety. We had the pork chop and miso salmon. Goat cheese appetizer was great. The bread was straight from the oven with nice garnish on top. Drinks!! Peanut butter pie/dessert was too much for one person but delightful. Server was very pleasant & attentive.

My husband and I both got drinks which were great. We tried the surf and turf, also great. For our meal we ordered the tomahawk 32 oz steak with Japanese fried rice and frites. We were impressed with everything other than the steak. The tomahawk was $135.00 and it was mainly fat. We could only eat a few bites it was so fatty. If you're spending that much money on a steak, it should be well worth it.

We did room service for our anniversary the selection was small which is okay however all the food was cold and over priced especially to be delivered in a paper bag. The best part was the bottled water. Spending $90 on a meal and a few sides was quite a disappointment.
