A group of friends and I were looking for a place to meet up. One of them mentioned D&B daiquiri spot. I had never heard of it before, but I’m glad I did. At the time, I didn’t know they served food, so I ate before I got there. It’s a little small inside but the atmosphere is still great. They have music playing, which gives the whole place a vibe. My friend picked this spot for weekend lunch. She had dined here before. However, it was my first experience.
I ordered the catfish dinner with slaw, greenbeens, and cornbread dressing. It also came with cornbread.
The filet was really good. And yes, it's real catfish. The greenbeans were rich with potatoes and bacon. The slaw, cornbread, and cornbread dressing were overloaded with sugar. The dressing had a stuffing texture and tasted like a reheat. It...
