Dickey's Barbecue Pit

My food was greasy, all of it and very salty. The meat had quite a lot of fat, and was at room temperature , which was odd but concerning regarding health standards and meat. And fries and okra were fresh fried but had too much salt and not enough taste. The soda was mostly carbonated water and that was flat!
The bread toasted was doughy in the middle. The dining area was not wiped down.
The business name said it is a Pit BBQ but this has a forced smoke machine which may use wood, but it has no place to heat the meat or ribs over an open fire which is the custom before serving.
Almost every Oklahoma City business saying it is a real BBQ is generating this stuff and it has no char really and has no real open fire and long hours of brine and smoke taste.
This restaurant has many loyal followers.
And does a steady business. They have a very wide choice of meats.
Location is good, they have fair prices. They have a drive thru. And they do a very big catering business.
I saw many people get food to go. And then a large family come in and we're enjoying the immediate seating.

We paid 40 dollars for a 2 meat plate of brisket that comes with 4 small slices of brisket and a 3 meat with pulled pork and brisket that barely comes with any meat. Save your money go to any other bbq place that actually gives you a good amount of food not barely anything for the prices.

The way it looked coming out the bag made me sick. Food was not good potato salad was old. Beans reheated omg I hate I went so far for it

First time at Dickey's and i was greeted as soon as I walked in. The three ladies working there were Kim, Erika & Misty. They were very helpful to assist me with my questions. Very kind and professional. Will definitely be back. I got the Giant Baker and it was very delicious with lots of flavor. Worth the price, specially with the sauces that they have.

As stated in reviews from years previous, apparently this place doesn’t like to pay the workers what they were promised in tips. As far as I know that’s illegal, to withhold tips or promised pay. It’s wild that they continue to get business after literal years of scamming

It's the first time eating at this location. We tried the 3 meat platters. The sausage and potato casserole was very dry. The brisket was good!

I was a bit disappointed in my food. I ordered a half a pound of brisket because I love brisket. However it was dry. The sauce is very tasty but the brisket was dry with very little flex to it. However I may have been served brisket that may have been in the warmer too long. I wouldn't be necessarily knock it because that's all I had. I don't eat pork so I can't speak on the pork items. Nor have I had anything else from the menu. The young lady that served us was very courteous and the restaurant was probably at a slow time so there weren't any customers inside. We took ours to go.

The food was really good but the sauce was cold so it made the food cold. Brisket is very tender, and the husband said that the ribs were really good. They have the really good ice for your drinks, too.

I love the people here and the food. Kim is always so friendly and helpful. Love the service here and the food is always hot and tasty. Thank you morning crew for an awesome lunch.

The potato isn’t very good, brisket is dry. The guy at the counter is kinda rude. The ac don’t work in this place. Sweet tea is trash. Asked for a coke it’s flat. It’s hot as hell in here
