Dulce Vida Tacos & Tequila

This is one of my favorite places to eat w friends. The food is great w lots of different and unique dishes to choose from, but my favorite is the Choripollo. The service is always good, but our server last night was Johwar, and he was awesome. Thank you for such great service, Johwar!

Aesthetics are so cute. But the food is mediocre. Food had no flavor. This place is pretty pricy so it’s not worth it.

On travel from Iowa to Texas to visit family and stopped for take-out to my motel room. I have my small dog along. At the door, the staff (3) greeted me with smiles and let me dog sit by my side as I asked about gluten allergy menu items. Staff was very helpful and understood allergy requirements. My take-out was in my hands in minutes. The Quesabirrias were delicious, hot and a very generous portion. I also enjoyed chips and salsa. Everything was tasty and just awesome! Marking this as a stop on my way through town. Definitely want to test the drink menu next time! Thank you all at Dulce Vida Tacos & Tequila (NW Expressway) for the great service and food!

Not my favorite. Hot sauce had no heat so ordered a hotter sauce (extra cost) and it was not good. Choice of rice or beans with my entre. Ordered beans and got rice.
Beautiful restaurant, ok staff. Just didn't enjoy the meal.
And the music playing for birthday celebration was LOUD.

The atmosphere is beautiful, service was wonderful, and food was delicious!

No photos of our food because we took video of our sizzling plates!!! We are in the city for 1 night. Read some reviews from our hotel and they recommended this restaurant. Absolutely amazing food and service. Our waitress was definitely new but she took her time with us not afaid to check in and make sure we were satisfied with everything that came to the table! Our drinks were perfect! If your looking for some amazing mexican food and drinks Dulce Vida needs to be on your bucket list for OKC!!!

Yesterday my family visited here for what was supposed to be for my birthday celebration. This is the second time we’ve gone to the northwest location, didn’t realize until now there’s more than the one location. First time a few months ago, my sons and husband fish were raw - this time, service was hands down horrible, meanwhile we watched others getting far better service than us. Our table stayed cluttered, despite my husbands attempts to bus our own table. My food was cold, had to have it redone, still wasn’t hot like you’d expect a meal to be served - wound up just not eating as I didn’t want to complain anymore, I ate with dirty silverware - didn’t realize at first until I took a bite. Wound up not even celebrating my birthday as we could see service was elsewhere with the other table that was also celebrating a birthday, and because we were ready to go by that point. Then the cherry on top.. towards the end two girls and a man that works for the restaurant wanted to talk about my husband in Spanish not realizing just because we’re white, he knows a little bit to know the basics of what was being said - which he then let them know in Spanish he is aware of what they’re saying which they quickly realized the embarrassment of their actions. Overall the fact we tried this place again, to be even more disappointed is not okay - and I’d like to think it isn’t a race thing, however seeing how our service went yesterday in comparison to everyone else.. it’s hard to rule that out. And I should add, it was not busy and super packed during our time.

The food was really good! The only complaint from me is the guacamole. It needed more onions and flavor, but I'm definitely going back. The chicken fajitas and the chimichangas were very good. Service and atmosphere were excellent! This was for the Memorial location.

absolutely horrible...we ate there sunday september 28 2005 at 4 pm. It took 30 minutes to get our food. The avocado for the $11 guacamole was not ripe, the carne asada was like eating leather and the shredded beef was full of fat. We do not complain and try to get money taken off our bill, we just dont return. Its too bad because this restaurant has lots of potential. They think they can get by on their fancy looking drinks. 1 good thing is my brother said his chicken enchiladas suizas were good thats why I gave them 2 stars but everything I had was horrible...

The service was great and the atmosphere was too. The green sauce seemed very sour and the chips are thicker than we liked. It's a little expensive but a very nice and trendy place. The hot sauce and refried beans were good. The staff was friendly and being nice to look at didnt hurt either

Such a cute place! It's very loud, so good for a gathering but not for a conversation. Out waiter was helpful enough, not great, but not poor. The food was terrible. We ordered a bunch of different things, but they were all terrible. The guacamole was good, but that's about it. Everything else was so bad, dry and lacking flavor (so unusual for a Mexican restaurant). We're glad we tried it, but we won't go back.
