SUCH delicious food, the best customer service from our server and every single person there, and such an awesome and unique atmosphere. Great patio. I can’t wait to come back! Grateful that this restaurant is in northern OKC in the Britton district. Thank you for such a great experience. :)

Advertised wagu beef fajitas, was the toughest wagu if indeed it was truly wagu. I would change the meat type if you want to continue to charge that price and customers not being able to eat it. No lunch menu, entres too pricey for lunch.

Update. Food and service were great. Really like the place. Impressed the service was improved from last visit. We were bummed we couldn’t sit on the patio and the reason made me shake my head. We asked why it wasn’t open and the hostess said “because we don’t have any propane for the heat lamps.” Are you kidding me? There is no reason why the manager would t have someone go grab propane when they discovered it. Instead it’s the “Oklahoma thinking” of yeah let’s just shut down the patio. Don’t get it. I will say also the patio COULD be incredible but there is no love put into it. They could have many plants, cactus, pots, lights draped, etc to make it so much more inviting. Bummer

First time trying El Coyote. Ordered a couple drinks first which frankly could not taste the tequila and at $12 and $10 each, I would have appreciated a bit of tequila. We ordered the queso and requested the hot salsa, which isn't that hot but deliciously smokey. Their chips are light and not greasy. My husband ordered the stacked enchilada and didn't like it all; ate two bites and left it. I ordered the chicken nachos which were good but quickly became soggy because their chips are so light. Our other companions didn't care for the side of rice they ordered and said the tacos were just okay. Love the atmosphere; truly beautiful inside. Doubt this will be a repeat sadly. I really wanted to like this restaurant because the patio is enticing for the warmer weather coming up.

Gorgeous interior, stellar service, and the food is KILLER - great, fresh flavors, and beautiful presentation. Get a Stuffed Sopapilla with "Christmas" style sauce and a Taos Desert Heat Margarita, and thank me later.

When we arrived there would’ve been a long wait time. Luckily we were able to sit at the bar. The ambience and atmosphere was nice. I also enjoyed the music playing. It was Taco Tuesday so we ordered tacos. The carne adovada was meh, but the camarones and chef’s taco was really good.

Had the Birria Tacos. Also, guacamole and salsa. Super good. The tacos had something like a crispy roast beef taste! Mmmm! Great Margarita, too.

Being raised in the Rocky Mountain region O grew up with Nee Mexican style cuisine. It’s been a minute since I have had the pleasure of indulging but El Coyote definitely tucked at some old memories.I had the stuffed sopapilla. With pork. It was delicious. The hominy as a side instead of rice—beautiful. There beans have something in them that is almost floral. Delicious to say the least. The service at lunch is as great and the food came out quickly.
