Well I don't think I've ever given a place as much business as this taco truck. They got me to try them with the 99 cent tacos and boy are they good. Authentic street tacos for only a dollar for your choice of 3 meats: chicken, al pastor, or carnitas. All are fantastic and you will never get just one. They come with 2 tortillas, diced onions, cilantro, fresh lime and pickled carrots. Cannot recommend enough. My favorite is the carnitas. They also have Carne Asada and Birria for $1.75 each. What got me in here versus the others is the fact that they DO take payment cards, and they have a legit food license. So many others are cash only

Okay so long story short...we ended up here...we saw a guy with a sign for $1 tacos (yep that's how I'll end up being kidnapped apparently 😆 I turned right on in!! They ended up being THE BEST TACOS we have had in a very long time!! Not to mention the BEST tripas taco! And fish taco too!! We ended up going back to the window and having another round of tacos!! As we were leaving I said I can't wait to be hungry again so I can come back and eat!! Oh and for those jalisco authentic peep...they have Tejuino !

We have not eaten here in a long long time and in the past, we have enjoyed it a lot so we happen to find ourselves on that side of town and stopped in. Now a fair warning to the Gringos don't expect them to speak perfect English or be like "teds" (thank goodness). They offer real home-style cooked Mexican food. The service is always good and you will be taken care of. If mariachi bands bother you, don't go in, we have eaten here 2 dozen times over the years and probably only once has a traveling band not stopped in. The music can be loud but everyone seems to enjoy it. Lemonade is freshly made and the best in town. The rest of the food is good but again if you're used to "American" Mexican food you may not be as thrilled.

This is one of your typical looking places you driving by and wonder. There are so many styles of Tex Mex, etc. We like S. Texas (RGV) and New Mexican flavors. This is a S. Texas style we have enjoyed over the years

My kids and I have variable experiences. I ordered a red sauce version of chile verde, chile rojo if you will. This is the first time I've had a meal brought to me the smell of which was so offputting. I went ahead and tried it and found it to be okay, but it was hard to overcome the slightly off smell. The queso that they brought with chips was simply nacho cheese, not what I would expect from an "authentic" Mexican restaurant. That being said, my kids liked their tacos and burritos. The service was okay; the server was nice but rarely came by.

Authentic and wonderful. Spicy salsa. Green beef burrito and beef and potatoes are delish. Cheap and fabulous!

I drive by this place every work day and have always been curious. Last week we tried it and were very pleased. It is a very authentic Mexican restaurant. In fact our servers spoke even less English than I do Spanish. My wife ordered one of the prettiest meals we have seen. It was the Hawaiian fajitas, which consisted of a pineapple halved and grilled then stuffed with grilled shrimp, chicken and beef as well as onions and red bell pepper. And it tasted as good as it looked. The tortillas were made fresh after we ordered and came hot off the grill. Unfortunately my flautas were overcooked to the point of being too crispy. The salsa was good but the tortilla chips a little disappointing. So we batted .500, which is good enough to go back again. The service is good and the décor pleasing. It's usually pretty busy and most of the customers Hispanic so that speaks well for the place.

I love this little place! I has 6 booths and 2 small tables for seating. Menu consists of tortas, burritos, taco, enchiladas with a variety of meats to choose from. You order at the counter and they serve you your food. Service is fast and friendly. The food is served in baskets with plasticware. I have never received a bad meal and always leave full and happy. Dress is very casual. If your looking for quick but delicious meal this is a great option.
