So I arrived here at the Faculty House, without a whole lot in the way of expectations. I just left the VA hospital and this was in close proximity and had some rave reviews. So I decided to take a chance and come by. I did not realize that it was a private club, but regardless, I was welcomed in. I'm wearing a working man's attire, clean, but totally casual, nothing of the business casual in what I have on today. I was promptly greeted by the staff, shown around the dining room, introduced to each of the entrées. And yes, I mean introduced, not just shown. The staff is excellent. Warm, friendly, and personable. The food is better than any I have had elsewhere. The catfish was to die for. Perfectly grilled, perfectly breaded, perfectly prepared. The hush puppies were cooked properly, nice and brown, but not hard, golden and moist on the inside. The yellow squash was put in a delightful dish that reminded me of my mother's cooking, but was actually even more tasty. I mentioned that I would like to come back and Bring my family with me, lamenting that I cannot join this club because I don't live anywhere near here. They assured me that we would be welcome anytime. What a great place. And the food is even better :-). So be fearless, and come check out Faculty House.

This is a wonderful restaurant with an absolutely fantastic buffet. The staff was very attentive and friendly, and their dessert menu was to die for! Highly recommend!

The University of Oklahoma Faculty House is a nice restaurant. I have visited this place for lunch several times. They very delicious lunch buffet. The price is also cheap. I just loved their desserts. The customer service is excellent.

Great food. Awesome barbecue on Thursdays. Desserts are great. Lots of parking across street. Asparagus bisque is great.
Nice buffet, but not enough vegetarian items in my opinion.
