It's hard for me to write a bad review. It just wasn't a good experience. The food gave me the bubble guts. Unfortunately I wouldn't visit this place again for the food. I ate the salmon and couldn't finish it. Something felt off about it. It was also really pricey. I don't mind paying for a great meal. But this place was not worth it.

6 of us, 2 ordered the smothered beef tips, Cuban sand, spicy taco, chicken wings, chicken fried steak and the sampler appetizer. The appetizer was tasty. The beef tips were bland and def not filet (who are you kidding?) Bland mashed potatoes like they were made for a senior home with no seasoning. No flavor and meat was tough. The Cuban was meh. Spicy tacos were not spicy idk maybe they forgot the sauce? Chicken wings and sidewinder fries were good. The chicken fried was surprisingly and not in a good way. They took a round steak with no seasoning and dredge it in batter! No tenderizing at all! Gross. Tough and budget type cooking. Our waitress was great and did a great job

Service and atmosphere were very good. Ordered the 3 meat pizza, was hoping for a scratch kitchen style pizza, but it resembled and tasted more like a frozen dg pizza, ugh.

Went on a Monday night. Place is laid out pretty cool. 3 different bars, lots of high tops & booths. Great for bigger groups or just one person. Sat at bar. Eventually acknowledged by server. They weren’t busy in my estimation. She went to get me a refill & basically, after 8-10 minutes of waiting on that & to order food, decided to give the Mexican place next door a visit. Maybe next time. She could have other things on her mind. Menu looked good. Can’t comment on food. Give it a try as it’s not a National chain, #support local.

Terrible. Food was unappetizing and barely edible. I wouldn’t say it was under seasoned because it wasn’t seasoned at all. For the price we paid, it was highly disappointing. Only saving grace was the butter board. Waitress was also clueless but at least she was nice. I didn’t even bring our leftovers home because I would never do my dog like that.

Went to the Mug Scratch by accident on my way to the airport. The outside of the building looks like a dive, but inside the restaurant was very nice. I sat at the bar, but there were plenty of tables available. I ordered catfish and a beer. The food was amazing!! Service was excellent!
I definitely would recommend this restaurant for date night. Lighting was low and food was good and reasonably priced.

Honestly, good food and our server was sweet. But, a roach the size of 3 quarters (length) crawled up my arm when I opened the silverware. It jump scared me LOL. I’d give a 4-5 star if it wasn’t for the little roach.
