My fiancé and I went to here for our 7th anniversary dinner, as we like to do for our usual special occasions (anniversaries, birthdays, etc). The whole experience was nothing short of what we've come to expect, & honestly it even exceeded our expectations. We were greeted warmly as always, but when we arrived to our table the staff had signed a little “Happy Anniversary” card which we were so appreciative of. Our waiter was very tentative & helped make our special night even more special by really taking care of us which allowed us to just enjoy the amazing food (apps, entrees, drinks, & dessert) & each other's company. We highly recommend anyone to come here for any special occasion & will definitely continue to come back for the foreseeable future. Cheever's never misses.

Trey, our host was a perfect gentleman and cared for our every request with courtesy. The food selections we made were prepared perfectly! One suggestion: for the ladies room, add over the sink lighting or makeup lighting bulbs on either side of the ladies room mirror. Would be easier to check out makeup/teeth after dining! Food here is ALWAYS delicious. Service is ALWAYS welcoming. This time I had the seafood tamales and my husband had the salmon. We got the carrot cake for dessert.... I don't even like carrot cake.... But it was SO GOOD! You can't go wrong here!

I have severe food allergies and most restaurants don't try to accommodate but they did without contempt, just a friendly smile and recommendations. They were more than willing to do it and also double checked my items. Such a great experience and the food is beyond amazing. The filet was the best I've had! Will return frequently!

This was a birthday brunch for my husband and I booked the reservation as such; it was never acknowledged. I also asked for seating in a quieter area. We were seated by the bar in a cramped and loud space at a very small table. My chicken was not cooked well - pink inside. The waffles were cool and not hot, served with cold syrup. The chicken enchiladas were good but the side of cilantro rice was not. The carrot cake was excellent. I feel $4 for iced tea is a bit steep. Overall, we have no plans to return anytime soon.

Very nice place with interesting history. Our server, Zoey was amazing and really took care of us. It's pretty pricey, and with the cost of the entree it shouldn't be difficult to include a salad with the meal. $12 for a side salad is unreasonable. My wife had an "Old Fashioned" and somehow it ended up being $19 which she would have not done knowing this price. Overall, it was a nice experience, especially for a date night and money is no object.

Our meal started with drinks and bread; both excellent. I highly recommend the Preservation cocktail. My wife ordered the Salmon and was extremely pleased with it. I ordered the Grilled Ribeye dinner. The mashed potatoes were not hot; perhaps lukewarm. The steak was 14 ounces according to the menu. Unfortunately this particular steak was not marbled, but did have a significant amount of fat at one end. I believe it was at best a 10 ounce steak with about 4 ounces of fat I had to cut off. The remaining portion was not marbled. The remaining portion was satisfactory in flavor and preparedness, but did not meet the threshold I would expect for a $49 ribeye steak. The ambience is good and the overall experience good.
