GastroPub meets Fine Dining. This elegant, historical restaurant has an amazing menu and staff. The maple chicken was the perfect combo of savory and sweet, the filet was cooked to perfection and melt-in-your-mouth yummy and dinner was finished with a decedent GIANT chocolate cake. The staff was personable and friendly. Would highly recommend!
We come to OKC every October and always make a point to go to Cheever's for dinner. We've always had satisfying meals there. The chicken tortilla soup is awesome, and so is the chicken fried steak. We highly recommend Cheever's!
The energy of our server and knowledge of the entire restaurant was fantastic. The noise level is too much for us to hear each other talk, but besides that the food no matter what we finally decide on is prepared perfectly.
Cheever's is always good. Literally! We've never had a bad dining experience at Cheever's. Joey was our server, and he couldn't have been nicer or more attentive. We will ask for him when we make our next reservation.
Cheevers is so good. I've never had a bad or even mediocre meal here. It's always been somewhere between very good and excellent. The staff is fantastic, the atmosphere is good, menu selection is varied and quite good and everything is made in house. I would highly recommend.
Excellent experience all around. Great service and excellent food. Highly recommend this place for dinner with reservations. We were in town to visit the college and will definitely dine here again when in the area.
Upon the recommendation of a friend, we made reservations to dine here for lunch. After a long drive from out of state, it was nice to have such a lovely lunch. Service was great, meal was fabulous and the atmosphere was just right. It wasn't too loud nor too quiet and made it easy to converse. I'm thankful that our reservation was early in the day as it allowed us to find a parking space without any difficulty. The parking lot is small, so be prepared to have a plan B for parking should the lot be full. If in the area again, we will definitely eat there again.
Our first time! We loved the Bass and chicken fried steak, appetizer dip /chips and choc cake. The waitress was wonderful. I would say the only thing is it took them a long to get to our table to get started but I noticed it was like that with others so maybe that is how they do it. Once we got started, everything was wonderfully done.
Excellent service start to finish. The food was exceptional. My very picky son ordered the salmon and said it was the best he's ever had. My ribs were sooo good and my daughter-in-law said her filet was great! The strudel appetizer did not disappoint. Worth every penny!
Each year for the past 10+ years, my wife and O have been celebrating our anniversary at this wonderful restaurant. And each year they continue to be one of the most consistent establishments in all of OKC. The atmosphere, food, drinks and service are always top notch. We look forward to continuing our tradition for years and decades to come!

Excellent brunch at Cheever's Cafe! Outstanding service at the stem of a restaurant. We loved the Masa Vallo Con Huevos and Smoked Brisket Hash. Can't wait to try dinner on our next visit to OKC.
Excellent service! The food was good, but the halibut was overcooked and dried out, and the Caesar salad was not made with romaine and fairly tasteless. The sea bass specials were good as was the shrimp risotto served with the halibut. In past dinners, the halibut had been exceptionally good, so I will chalk this up to a bad night. Highly recommended!
Third time to have dinner at Cheever's. Third time to enjoy a delicious meal with excellent service. Celebrated a birthday and they gave us a free dessert. We'll be back.
Cheever's is the quintessential hidden gem neighborhood restaurant. Friendly and expert staff coupled with a all-prepared in-house menu prepare with quality ingredients. Ordinary staple dishes come out at a higher level, such as the chicken tortilla soup. The desserts are mouth-watering and fill the need when nothing else comes close.
Our server was lovely. The service was very slow. Very slow. The comment was that the kitchen was backed up. Our food arrived after 45 minutes. Cold. We watched people come after us that were served so unclear on what was going on. There was no interest in sending it back- why wait. They had open tables throughout our 1 1/2 hours. There are many alternatives to try that provide a better experience. The reality is- we won't be back. Not worth it.
