No wonder this place is packed all the time and there was a waiting line outside the door when we went Sunday lunch. The food is great, atmosphere like a legit HK restaurant, and prices are crazy cheap for the amount of food you get! Wow!

Golden Phoenix is without a shadow of a doubt the BEST Chinese food OKC has to offer, maybe Oklahoma. I highly recommend you give this place a try, it is the most hot and fresh, good ingredients and out of this world flavor. Only qualm Ive had with them is in the service department, sometimes I feel forgotten about when it comes to getting Togo boxes and checks ect. But I’m also white 😅 but if that’s the price I have to pay to eat this amazing food then so be it I have no problem being forgotten about with all this amazing hot and fresh tasting Chinese in front of me 🤤I’d give them 6 stars if it would let me. Also *EDIT* this is the only Chinese food I’ve had that’s good enough that I even love eating the food cold out of the fridge in middle of the night 😅 AND I’ve added this spot to my rotation and can’t go longer then a week or two without it. 10/10

I rarely leave a review, but I had to this time.
My family are regulars here — we love the vibe and often come for the Thai hot pot ổn Sundays or some orher days. Unfortunately, our recent visit left us extremely disappointed. We received a wrong order but that’s okay, mistakes happen. The real issue was the server’s attitude.
This time, the order was wrong — my mom asked for the Thai seafood hot pot, but we were given the regular seafood hot pot instead. We noticed the pot looked a bit different, but assumed maybe it was just a new presentation. Once we tasted it, it was clear this wasn’t the usual Thai base we always get.
When we let them know, most of the staff were kind and understanding — except for the server who took our order. Instead of simply acknowledging the mix-up and apologizing, she doubled down and told us we should’ve said “Thai hot pot” instead of “Thai seafood hot pot” — even though we’ve always ordered it the same way in the past.
What made it worse was her attitude. She didn’t take any accountability and instead chose to blame us. My parents, being kind and non-confrontational, didn’t argue — but it felt like she took that as a win and continued speaking to us in a dismissive way.
We’ve always enjoyed coming here, but this experience really dampened our evening. Mistakes happen — and that’s okay — but how you handle them matters. The rest of the staff were lovely, but the behavior of this one server was extremely disappointing. It ruined what should’ve been a nice family dinner.

Went there with our family (8 people) and we ordered a good amount of food including the Dungeness crab and it tasted unfresh and frozen, we had it be sent back and have a fresher one come out, their food quality was pretty low and didn’t feel like it belonged in that fancy-ish atmosphere, service was also mid. They don’t respond to reviews, so I assume they are not even doing anything about complaints on bad reviews, nor acknowledge them.
Who doesn’t love a good Chinese restaurant that has dim sum?! They walk around with carts filled with different goodies and it gets dangerous because it’s so easy to point which one you want and try them all! Good food and friendly staff. Obviously we’ll be back :)

Never again am I and/or my families/friends going here nor will I recommend anyone I know. HORRIBLE service and to top it off automatic 20% gratuity.
Amazing as always!
Good foods good prices 👌
BLUF/SUMMARY: We’ve been coming here for a couple years… one of only a few Dimsum places in Tulsa/OKC area. Admittedly has improved over that 2 year span. Great Dimsum selection cooked well and done authentically, also the chili oil. Our go to spot when in OKC.
DETAILS: Won’t write too much on this one, just one of our favorite spots when we crave Dimsum. The weekend Dimsum carts are a must - no need to order from their seemingly 50 page menu… it’s huge. The Dimsum selection is vast and done well, just make sure you are there early before it either runs out or gets cold. Ambiance and service is typical for this type of food. You don’t come to places like this for that - it’s about the Dimsum.
