Sometimes I do buffet, and sometimes I order a dish. I'm never disappointed either way. The one guy that seems to work every day is amazing.

Husband and I are on a mission to try all the Indian places in OKC, so we stopped by Gopuram's for lunch! First of all, the service there was great. By the time we got to the buffet, there really wasn't any much left. The rice looked all dried up. There was one sad looking piece of naan in its tray. But the guy there came by our table with freshly made naan and topped off the rice even though they were closing in 20 mins. He also made tandoori chicken for us and served it right to our table. So service is 100% worth 5 stars. Sadly, the food was honestly about 3.5 stars worth. Selection wise, it wasn't great to begin with - only four curries, spinach pakoras, and tandoori chicken. The curries themselves were just okay as well, but I did think the spinach pakora was delicious. Tandoori chicken fresh out of the oven was pretty good, but we were definitely let down by the curries. It was 14$ a person, which really isn't too bad price wise, but I think the selection could've been better. Now, maybe this could be because we came in right before they closed, but we weren't too impressed overall. Maybe if they had more of a selection, we'd go back.

The restaurant is primarily known for its dine-in buffet, but I prefer ordering large portions of takeout, especially their biriyanis and curries. The Hyderabad biryani is an absolute must-try; it’s bursting with flavors and always satisfies my cravings. Now, when it comes to the buffet, I’d say it’s decent on regular days but steps up its game during the weekends, offering a wider variety of items. One thing to note is that the prices have gone up over the years, which is a bit disappointing. However, considering it’s one of the few Indian restaurants close to I40 in OKC, I understand the pricing to some extent. In summary, Gopuram is a reliable choice for Indian takeout in OKC. While the buffet may not always blow you away, their takeout options, especially the Hyderabad biryani, make it worth a visit. It’s the go-to spot for Indian food enthusiasts in this part of town.

I have been here twice in the last month. Each time I went at noon and had the buffet. I enjoyed the food very much and plan return soon. One thing I noticed was the lack of customers. Just a few on the first occasion and I was alone today. I don't know anything about Indian food so this is not a critique of that.

Gopuram restaurant offers a $15 lunch buffet that, while not the most extensive in terms of variety, impresses with its perfect taste and quality. Every item served is not only fresh but also piping hot, demonstrating their dedication to providing a delightful dining experience. The attentive service from the staff and the pleasant ambiance add to the overall charm of the restaurant. While you might find fewer choices compared to some other Indian restaurants, Gopuram compensates with its commitment to delivering exceptional flavors. For an affordable and satisfying Indian meal, Gopuram remains a solid option, showcasing the essence of Indian cuisine.
Indian food is, in my opinion, very complex and dynamic. I would describe the food here as bland.

Wow. No air conditioning, hardly any food at the buffet, and paper plates? I can’t believe this place is an actual restaurant and is in business.

First of all there’s no AC so it’s hot. They have no menu just a cold buffer with very little selection. Don’t waste your time our money!

My mother in law and daughter like to try new restaurants every time we get together for lunch. We enjoy trying different ethnic restaurants and this one was great. They had a buffet the afternoon we went. It had somewhat limited choices however we tried everything and food was wonderful. Will definitely go back again.
