Living in New Orleans dining is part of our culture. I was visiting Oklahoma and looking around for an amazing dining experience in OKC. I came across Grey Sweater. It had all of the things I was looking for: James Beard Award Winning Chef, 10 course tasting menu with wine pairing, beautiful atmosphere, and a submersible experience with personal service! IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! They called a few days ahead of our reservation to get a more personal feel for our adventure and any dietary restrictions. My son made the Deans List and I wanted to bring him to a special elevated dining experience as a reward! The staff hand signed a card for him and had it waiting at our seats at the bar! So special! Our server was very knowledgeable about every detail of our water, wine, and dishes! The open kitchen and getting to watch the chefs work added to the experience! The host and bartender were absolutely amazing as well! Everyone was very welcoming and came to us to ask the flavors we desired so he could hand craft each of us a cocktail we would enjoy! We loved every second of our 4 hour dinner and would absolutely recommend a stop in for a special occasion. It’s a treat! Thank you to all of the staff that made our experience phenomenal! Keep up the great work!

This was my first time at Grey Sweater. I have Ulcerative Colitis which severely restricts my diet. Michael was wonderful about this. We talked several times on the phone about my needs. It was amazing to have a wonderful meal without having to worry about trying to find something on the menu and explain to my waiter about all the things I needed to have changed. At the end of my dinner Michael even told me they have my Diet Restrictions on file and invited me to come back anytime. Not only is the food fabulous, they go above and beyond to try and make sure everything is perfect and meet any special needs you might have.

I can't say enough about Grey Sweater. My previous life was in fine dining, so I know good food/good service. The quality of the food, novelty of the ingredients, creativity of the courses, and the supreme presentation make this the best food experience of my 60 years. When I worked in restaurants, I would cook table side on a gueridon. We had a beverage cart with amazing cordials. So I understand the personalized concept of service. Grey Sweater delivered in such an amazing way. Marco was out primary server and Michael was the equivalent of a maitre'd. They were so coordinated with each other and with the chefs. They were so incredibly knowledgeable! I can't say enough. I recommend Grey Sweater without limitation or hesitation. Only caveat, bring your wallet. This experience is completely worth it, but also the most expensive meal of my life. Thank you ❤️

I have been waiting years to have an experience at Grey Sweater! I come to OKC a few times a year and always a schedule conflict. The staff was WONDERFULLY professional, knowledgeable and warm. I felt like “royalty”. OMG, the food: art forms bursting with surprising flavorful contrasts. I was in LOVE! Well done Grey Sweater!

Cocktails from the bar were bespoke, we have our likes and dislikes and the bartender made magic on the fly. The food was an awesome experience, and sitting at the chef table was super cool. We were really looking forward to this experience, especially hoping to see Chef Black in action—that was actually the main reason we chose this spot. Unfortunately, he wasn’t there during our visit, which was a letdown since we were excited to meet him and try his personal creations.
That said, the food itself was enjoyable—well-prepared and tasty—but I was hoping for something a bit more creative and diverse. We had the 7-course meal, and while beautifully presented, it didn’t feel particularly filling or as adventurous as other chef’s tables I’ve experienced. For those new to this kind of dining, it’s definitely a fun and luxurious introduction. But for seasoned diners who crave bold, diverse flavors, it might not fully meet expectations.
What truly stood out, though, was the staff. Rusty, Michael, and I think the Chef name might have been Adam, not entirely sure, however, they were pretty awesome! They were incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and made the experience fun from start to finish. The chefs behind the counter were talented and put on a great show, and the restaurant itself is spotless, elegant, and clearly high-end.

Absolutely wonderful. I took my best friend here while she is out visiting me. We did the 10 course with the silver wine pairing. It was amazing. Food was imaginative and delicious. Rusty was so helpful and made the experience even better. This place would fit well in DC, Boston, really any major metropolitan city. Can not recommend enough, choose this over Nonesuch
