What a gem of a restaurant! Award-winning Chef Black may be what drew us, but it was the creative leeway and innovation of the remarkably versatile and happy staff that impressed us. Their obvious pride in responding that, yes, that cocktail was their own invention. Their pleasure at helping us to guess at the unusual ingredient combinations. This is a collective endeavor, and joyful and surprising and flavorful and attractive in so many ways. An evening to remember!

Living in New Orleans dining is part of our culture. I was visiting Oklahoma and looking around for an amazing dining experience in OKC. I came across Grey Sweater. It had all of the things I was looking for: James Beard Award Winning Chef, 10 course tasting menu with wine pairing, beautiful atmosphere, and a submersible experience with personal service! IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! They called a few days ahead of our reservation to get a more personal feel for our adventure and any dietary restrictions. My son made the Deans List and I wanted to bring him to a special elevated dining experience as a reward! The staff hand signed a card for him and had it waiting at our seats at the bar! So special! Our server was very knowledgeable about every detail of our water, wine, and dishes! The open kitchen and getting to watch the chefs work added to the experience! The host and bartender were absolutely amazing as well! Everyone was very welcoming and came to us to ask the flavors we desired so he could hand craft each of us a cocktail we would enjoy! We loved every second of our 4 hour dinner and would absolutely recommend a stop in for a special occasion. It’s a treat! Thank you to all of the staff that made our experience phenomenal! Keep up the great work!

The food and experience were wonderful. We sat at the chef's counter along with a few other parties. There didn't seem to be any one specific server, several people helped us and told us about our food and drinks. Very fun!!

This was my first time at Grey Sweater. I have Ulcerative Colitis which severely restricts my diet. Michael was wonderful about this. We talked several times on the phone about my needs. It was amazing to have a wonderful meal without having to worry about trying to find something on the menu and explain to my waiter about all the things I needed to have changed. At the end of my dinner Michael even told me they have my Diet Restrictions on file and invited me to come back anytime. Not only is the food fabulous, they go above and beyond to try and make sure everything is perfect and meet any special needs you might have.

I can't say enough about Grey Sweater. My previous life was in fine dining, so I know good food/good service. The quality of the food, novelty of the ingredients, creativity of the courses, and the supreme presentation make this the best food experience of my 60 years. When I worked in restaurants, I would cook table side on a gueridon. We had a beverage cart with amazing cordials. So I understand the personalized concept of service. Grey Sweater delivered in such an amazing way. Marco was out primary server and Michael was the equivalent of a maitre'd. They were so coordinated with each other and with the chefs. They were so incredibly knowledgeable! I can't say enough. I recommend Grey Sweater without limitation or hesitation. Only caveat, bring your wallet. This experience is completely worth it, but also the most expensive meal of my life. Thank you ❤️
