My husband celebrated his birthday at “Grey Sweater” yesterday. It was an amazing culinary journey to enjoy the variety of food from practically everywhere! We sat at the counter and watched the chefs prepare beautiful delicious dishes. I didn't know what to expect with a “chef's choice” menu; however since it was a special occasion, we wanted the full experience. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff treated us as special guests. Did I mention the food was AMAZING! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. My husband and I are looking forward to another visit with Grey Sweater. And hopefully next time we'll get a chance to meet Chef Andrew Black. ✌?

This was our first restaurant experience like this and we were blown away by this experience. We had the seven course meal and were absolutely in love with each course. We sat in the dining room, our table had the most amazing view of the line. The team at this restaurant moves in perfect concert. It’s like watching a ballet. The service staff were absolutely remarkable, Marco and Micheal added so much to each course. The meal that we had was beyond compare. We stayed in the moment and present for each and every course. Phones off for the entire meal, I could not have taken a picture that did the artwork we were able to eat justice. Highly recommend this experience. We look forward to a return visit.Dietary restrictions: I have celiac and the team was able to provide me with the same amazing experience as anyone else.

Really a great experience to see what food can be. Still talking about flavor nuances the next day! And that one review saying staff and chef weren't friendly - not true. They were a pleasure to talk to for the whole of the evening, including the greeting and pic with the chef.

It was a great experience and watching Chef Black was amazing. The poise and control the chef's and staff worked with was truly something to see. Cocktails and wine pairing was excellent and Grey Sweater did not disappoint for our special day.
We got the 7 course meal with their Gold Wine pairing package. This restaurant experience is at a level that I don't think we could experience again without returning to the same restaurant. Everything was perfect to the last detail and executed on such a level, I have no doubt Chef Black will receive more future awards.

We were celebrating our 30th anniversary. What an amazing experience! Everything was just perfect. Although we had thought we'd prefer an intimate table, our host suggested that we would enjoy the chef's counter especially since James Beard Chef Andrew Black was working that evening. Such a magical time! Yes, it is expensive but it is a superb special occasion or business dinner experience. Every dish (we had the seven course tasting) was exquisite. The lamb was incredibly delish! The wine choice (we did a special bottle vs the pairings) was a special experience all its own. Take your special someone to Grey Sweater and make special memories!

The precision and the presence of Andrew and his staff was remarkable. The flavors were impressive. Noise levels were noticeably low. Everything was intentional and was fascinating to observe. The detail was admirable and I highly recommend this as an experience. Great job, Grey Sweater team!

Chef Black has outdone himself! Grey Sweater is an EXPERIENCE. The food is not just amazing in taste -- it is gorgeous! Every detail of Grey Sweater has been thought out and perfectly executed. The bartender is creative and made both cocktails and mocktails that were totally memorable. Each course was a surprise, and each was carefully explained by knowledgeable waitstaff. I cannot wait to return to the amazing restaurant experience.

The food and service was outstanding, we would definitely return because of that. The only downside was the wine pairing. The wine was excellent, but for the price, the pour size was definitely lacking. Next time I would stick with cocktails or a nice bottle of wine, it would be much more cost effective.

My wife and I celebrated an early Valentine's at Grey Sweater and they made it so special! Everything was exceptional - food, drinks, service, atmosphere, etc! We had a magical night and enjoyed every bit of it. Chef Black is a genius and has picked well with those that help him. We will definitely be back.
