I love Korean food. I also love soju and rice wine. This bar is cool and really has that Korean bar feel that a typical local would go to afterwork. I hope to see it grow and hold mor events.

If you love Korean food as much as my wife and I, you are doing yourself a disservice by not going here. Easily one of the most authentic experiences we’ve had. The seating is very close to an actual Korean pub and the food is outstanding.
We had the Mandu and Bossam. Bossam isn’t just ANYwhere and this was spot on. The unseasoned but perfectly cooked pork belly with all the essentials to add to the salted cabbage.
We are going to be here as much as we can!!

What a nice surprise coming here the first time the interior was very nicely decorated and felt new and clean. I sat at the bar with my wife and they had on some college football with music in the background. The staff was personable and attentive and they made my stay at the bar with with my wife an experience we can’t wait to have again ! I highly recommend the soju and yea it does sneak up on you . The fried chicken was awesome and so were the kimchi fries .What a blast see you again soon 🙏🏻

The waitress told me the chef was sick the day I came so I'll take her word at face value.
I ordered the pot stickers and buddaejjigae, hard to mess up on pot stickers so they came out fine, tasted like any other frozen pack of pot stickers you'd find at an Asian grocery store or Walmart.
The buddaejjigae, on the other hand, was abysmal. It reminded me of the spam and noodles I'd make back in my college dorm room when all I had access to was a microwave. The dish was entirely too soupy so all the other flavors were washed out, they even forgot to add the noodles the first time they brought it out, but by the time the noodles were added and cooked, the eggs had become overcooked and spongy and the other ingredients had lost all their flavor.
Hard to imagine the reservist chef had made any Korean food prior to this buddaejjigae. Would have much rather tipped the waitress $30 and made sure none of the check ever reached the chefs pocket.

Really tasty tteokbokki!

I want to get the pajeon (scallion pancakes) next time I pop in for dinner.

I used to frequent Ingrid's, and it's really nice to see what the new owners have done with the place.
