Very good, fast service and friendly employees. Not Tex-Mex. Nice change from the normal Mexican food around OKC

Tasty tacos below the streets of OKC in the unique underground tunnels open for lunch 11 am-2 pm Mondy-Friday. Directly south of the Skirvin, look for the little clear pyramid that reminds me of a little scale of the louvre.I tried a couple of street tacos pairing it with chips and queso. I was a little but surprised, but the meat was really good and flavorful. Great quick lunch and packaged to go so employees can transport it quickly back to their offices. There are tables inside so you can eat there if you decide to do so.Quirky fun lunch spot if you happen to be in downtown OKC during the week give it a try!

New place is a gem. I love the nachos. Tortilla soup is legit too. Love the big cookies!

Food preparation quality has gone down since they moved to this new location. I ordered the beef street tacos and they were piled on top of each other instead of stacking them next to each other as previously done. Doing so caused the grease to soak through and caused an un-flavorful mess. I tried once again at a later date hoping for better results, but was very disappointed. Not sure what happened or if new management took over, but hopefully they read these reviews and correct some of these issues.

Went to have a heavy meal with friends. Loved the food tastes, spicy and yummy items. They offer discounts in special days. Loved the calm environment. Very simple decoration but the customer service attracts anyone. Recommended for coming and having a try.

Nestled between Park Avenue and Main Street is the restaurant Hot Tamale Grill. Located in the club above the clubs "Petroleum Club". The decor is simple. For my main course, I decided to go with a bowl. The dish was tasty and the serving was big and worth the price.

Went for first time last week. Neat little place in with a great vibe. The food, in my opinion, was nothing to write home about. Upon ordering, I was handed a bag of tortilla chips and a container of salsa. This salsa was delicious. The chips were a little on the stale side, but edible. I ordered the carne asada tacos. They came with beans and rice. The girl at the register asked which sauce I'd like and, since I hadn't been there before, I went with mild. Um....hello! The mild sauce, which I expected to be more of a salsa type was a red sauce that was so blazing hot, I couldn't stand it. It looked more like buffalo sauce than taco sauce. Unfortunately the carne asada had been drenched in the "mild" sauce so I couldn't enjoy the tacos as tacos. I had to take the meat and dump it in the rice just so I could kill some of the spice. I love spicy food, but dang! That sauce was too much to be "mild". They have bottled sodas and unsweet tea to drink. Overall, it wasn't a bad lunch, just not what I expected.

Here's an idea: if you want to get better reviews, serve better food, be more careful about preparing it, and give me something other than paper plates and plastic forks.
