We have been here several times and it’s our favorite place to come for margaritas and chips and salsa! However this last visit was a little disappointing to say the least. We sat down at 4:00 on a Saturday with maybe 3 other customers in the restaurant. We were seated and waited on by the same person. She seemed a little annoyed to be there in general but we brushed it off as she may be having a bad day. We ordered drinks and one of our party asked for a non-spicy michelada, the waitress/bartender stated “well that’s kinda the point so we can’t do that” my friend was very caught off guard by this response as a simple “im sorry it’s a premix that has already been made” would have sufficed. I asked to clarify even if she thinks it’s not the point to drink a spicy drink if it was premixed or if that was just her opinion. She still never answered the question. We ordered our food and when asked if we could add chicken to the spinach mushroom quesadillas there was a long pause, she closed her eyes and then after a short time answered yes. After this interaction our server was switched to someone else not because we asked or complained to anyone about the situation. I don’t know if she was having a bad day but honestly the whole experience ruined the mood for our group. I still love this place and the food but it will definitely make me think twice before returning. We have never had an issue like this and are always greeted with wonderful hospitality and friendly servers.

If you enjoy good service then go somewhere else. 40 minutes and still no drinks. 20 to take our orders. The place is almost empty and the staff don’t seem to care. Bordering on rude. Manager is oblivious.This is a place to hang out but not to eat.
Food was basic at best, cold and bland. Way overpriced for the quality, including charging additional fees when specifically asked if something would cost extra and being told no. Service lacked as it took awhile to place order and receive food.

Restaurant looks nice, waitress was definitely not good. Boyfriend had to get up at one point to find the waitress. We ordered dip trip, quesadilla, shrimp fajitas and house margarita. Of all the food only the house margarita, guacamole and shrimp by its self was good. Definitely would not recommend for Texmex.
