Where to begin. This is the SECOND time this has happened to my family. My husband has alpha gal and it makes him allergic to mammal (every form) and sensitive to gluten. So we order the gluten friendly pancakes and he tolerates it very well. This trip to ihop ended horribly. We ordered his usual gluten friendly and added chocolate chips. What arrived at the table was PROTEIN pancakes. Animal based protein pancakes that were chalky, bitter and above all DANGEROUS to my husband. He ate a few bites and was concerned. I took up this concern with the waitress whom assured me they were in fact gluten free. They were NOT. They were a different consistency,and taste. I tried them myself to double check. But no these were protein pancakes. My husband was now hunched over in the booth holding his stomach enduring the stomach cramping and nausea that soon ensued. ALLERGIES ARE SERIOUS. WE WERE DISMISSED AND QUESTIONED. The waitress asked me if I was sure the chocolate chips didn’t change how the pancakes came out. NO. NO. NO. THEY WERE WRONG AND TO THE WRONG PERSON COULD’VE BEEN LETHAL. Paid for our drinks (which I don’t think I should have had to) and took my husband for monitoring. He’s alright. But, this isn’t ok! DO BETTER FOR FOOD ALLERGIES.

We haven’t been to an IHOP in many years. Stopped in for a quick breakfast and we were not disappointed. Everything was clean, the food was hot and fresh, and our server was amazing. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend this location.

It’s Christmas!! Usually I am with family cooking. This year dental work has the best of me. I appreciate the staff for taking time away from their own holiday and families to bless the rest of us. I ordered to go but they were busy, working as a team and still smiling. I almost want to turn into a tradition it was such a great experience. I’m sure my appreciation comes from the hearts of several others.
