I travel over 50 miles, past 6 other hospitals, just to get to Integris Baptist. I pay the same for the other hospitals and received good care. I want the best care and I want to be treated like a valued customer. The only complaint I have is with the security department. I had a 5am appointment and the elevators would not operate until 6am. I called security to help me and they told me to come back at 6am. I caught one of the staff reporting to work for my procedure. They let me in and my appointment time in fact was at 5am. The staff member was very helpful and she worked the reception desk where I was supposed to be at. At 5am. The security woman should have helped me, instead of telling me to come back at 6am. Had I done what she said, my place in line would have then been behind the patients reporting at 6am. When 6am came around, I had been checked in, I.V. in place and in the staging suite for my procedure to commence. Not too pleased with the security woman. The woman advised, she had worked at Integris since November 2023, and had never seen any procedure check in at 5 in the morning. She was wrong and clearly did not care about me. She had the typical "Authority Type" attitude, complete with sarcasm. The rest of the Integris Team was as usual...perfect, caring and concerned about proper customer treatment.Going further, the Cath Lab staff in Building B on the 3rd floor are just the best! So caring and wanting to make sure I was at ease and understood every step being made with me. My nurse, Femi and the rest of the staff were thoughtful and considerate, treating me like family. My Doctors Sparling and Blaschke inspired complete trust in every aspect. At no point did I feel any pain. When David was inserting the catheter for my I.V., there was not even a stick. From the beginning, except for the security woman, I was shown dignified respect in every phase of the Integris experience.

Our recent experience at Integris was awful. The floor nurses were dismissive and ignored multiple attempts I made to inform them of a condition my mom has that needed to be addressed. No one was focused on patient care or wanted to listen to any concerns we had. We experienced this same issue with multiple caregivers. We voiced our concerns to a supervisor, but instead of feeling heard, we were repeatedly reassured told how great the staff was.

Everyone from the ER to the Heart Hospital was so caring, helpful, attentive and just down right great. We did not lack for anything. We felt like we were leaving friends when we left. Thank goodness we have people like this and they are at Integris Health Baptist .
