Jamil's Steakhouse OKC

When riding by it appears they’re not open but all the activity and the entrance is in the back of the building. The food is delicious. The catfish is the best that I’ve had in the city service is just Ok. The location is very old and unique. I see many more visits in my future to try additional menu items.

IMO the food is mediocre. I did enjoy the tabouli salad & thought the cabbage roll was amazing. The pita bread was also good, but the rest of the food (steak & fish) were just OK. Definitely not work $104. Dishes are way to pricey.

I haven’t been to Jamil’s in a few years, took my mom for her birthday, filets were wonderful along with the cabbage rolls and staff was superb!

My experience today was unexpected. We go there for anniversary. I’ve been married for 32 years, today we went there for lunch. We ordered the chop salad, when we put it on our salad, it came out fast like it was watered down, we asked for as for extra dressing, the young man that was waiting on our table brought us dressing, that was thick our waitress had added water or something to addressing, when we got ready to leave, we ordered dessert to go. We received a third of a slice of pie 1299 apiece, I called back to see what happened. Unfortunately she answered the phone and said that sorry we just give more pieces horrible service today.

We came to OKC for the night for my Father in Laws birthday and he chose Jamil's for dinner, since the one in Tulsa closed. Absolutely amazing! The food was fantastic! The fried okra was the best I've ever had! The steak was cooked perfectly, which I can be a little picky about. The breading on the chicken fried steak was perfect! It was just the right amount of breading and had a wonderful taste of its own. The warm pita was a nice touch with the hummus as well. There was not a single thing that wasn't amazing! Our server Mike was outstanding! He truly made my father in laws birthday dinner memorable! He knew everything about the menu, had fantastic suggestions he even made my daughter a special lemonade since they didn't serve it there. He even told us about all the different artwork and decor. We will all definitely return

My sister and I took my dad to lunch at Jamil’s this afternoon. They have both been there many times but I never had. The atmosphere and people there are so friendly and I felt at home. The food was wonderful and I highly recommend Jamil’s. I will be coming back with the rest of my family very soon!
