“A group of 6 of us stopped for lunch on 10/24 for a late lunch. We got to speak and talk to the owner Richard so that was a nice touch for the experience. The miso soup was flavorful that we got with our lunch dishes. I had the Chicken Karaage Okonomiyaki and man that is the photo shown. Can't say I've had anything like it before but I devoured the plate and wanted more so look forward to being back!“

“Loved it here! Low lights, cozy vibe. Big booths seating. Super nice staff. High quality delicious food with very reasonable prices!! This is now in my regular lunch rotation. I didn't get pics because it was so good I ate it all before I remembered 😆 I recommended the Hungry roll and the gluten free soy sauce (upon request).

Edit- It was so good, I went back for dinner 🤣 got photos this time. Monkey brains appetizer is the way to go! Tempura veggies were okay, pretty thick cuts of vegetables. Hungry Rolls is amazing as well as the Pink Lady.“

“The yellowtail carpaccio caught my eye and I didn't hesitate to order the $20 app. It was served beautifully and the flavor was emense. Sticking with the theme of fresh fish I also ordered the dragon roll and hot lips roll (I love flavorful spicy dishes) the dragon roll came with a special thai chili on top whose presence made for a beautiful crunch and extra punch of flavor. Not too spicy and perfectly balanced. Wrapped in nori, the hot lips roll had a lovely presentation and excited me for the upcoming flavors. Having an extensive fresh & cooked sushi menu, Rice/Poke bowls plus a wonderfully helpful staff, I will definitely find myself exploring more of this Vietnamese and Japanese inspired menu“

“My partner and I went her after the remodeling. I have never been, but he had. He said it lost a lot of the comfy charm of a small restaurant and was disappointed. That being said, we both enjoyed the food. The servers were nice and understanding when I returned a drink and helped with any questions we had. The house special is a wild card so beware the price!! Haha, it doubled our total but was all very tasty.“

“My son and I both went and enjoyed what we ate. I scolded my tongue a few times but thats on me because my food was hot and fresh still in the little cast iron skillet. I had the Yaki Udon with beef and Shrimp and my son had the Tempura Udon. My meal was recommended by the fella who took our order and I was not let down! Very good. My son loved the tempura. And the crunch shrimp roll was very good too.
We will be back and will bring my oldest with us next time.

“Food is usually really good. Tonight I waited an hour for my to go order which was fine but I don’t appreciate paying full price and not getting mushrooms or sprouts. My egg roll order was short and the yum yum sauce tasted funny. Won’t stop me from going back, just think you guys can do way better.“

“Ordered a poke bowl and sushi for 2, and it was delicious. I had poke bowls at several places around Okc before but Ichiban poke bowl was really impressive to me with reasonable price. The server was nice and quick. My only complaint was the nasty highchair for kid, it was so dirty and sticky. I bet they never cleaned it.“

The last time I visited the shrimp wasn't good, must have been sitting out too long or gone bad. Y'all plz be careful to not let seafood go bad. You cannot cook spoil away. That only happened one time, no other times just fyi.“

“Smelled so clean, staff was amazingly inviting and not bothersome at all, the food was more than delicious, and the prices were very fair! The cherry on top was that our waitress asked US if we wanted drinks to go. We didnt have to ask her! ❤️ We did go on a Tuesday so Im not sure how they are with a busier crowd but we loved it. “First time here and by far one of my favorite hibachi grills I’ve been to. First off our chef was amazing and funny and made it a true experience. Second the prices for a hibachi restaurant were reasonable and not outrageous. Third their food incredible and the portion sizes are bigger than what I’ve had at other Japanese steakhouses. I highly recommend this place.“

“Edit: They stopped offering delivery. Still though : Best sushi in Midwest City. Whenever I eat sushi, I eat here. They are very talented and willing to make considerations for allergies. Despite it being "truck stop sushi" I have never gotten sick. They are super clean and their ingredients are always fresh.
Update: I noticed they have added some new staff. The owner or manager have trained them super well. I asked for my normal accomodations and she told me she didn't know if they could do them and went and asked. Then came back and tok my order. She was super polite about it and apologized for my wait, even explaining that she was still learning. Still the best sushi place, and best service.“
