“Always love visiting Oshiki, we’ve been here maybe 4 times already. Good food and a great atmosphere and plenty of space to bring friends or just go as a couple. The chefs are funny and the drinks are pretty good.
They also opened their outside patio area for renting which was pretty cool, to sit by the fire and have some cocktails.“

“I like going here when I’m pregnant their mochi ice cream is always one of my late cravings. The mango one is top tier - their sushi and such are good too but obviously I cannot currently indulge in that. Even if I can’t have the sushi the dessert makes up for it, really nice miso soup too and takoyaki. 10/10“

“Food is usually really good. Tonight I waited an hour for my to go order which was fine but I don’t appreciate paying full price and not getting mushrooms or sprouts. My egg roll order was short and the yum yum sauce tasted funny. Won’t stop me from going back, just think you guys can do way better.“

“One thing about Ichiban is that it's going to hit EVERY SINGLE TIME. I order to go often to work when I want something light, fresh, and delicious. The poke bowls are highly customizable and are perfect every time. I don't know why I took so long to write a review. EVERYTHING I've had from here (poke bowls, sushi, tempura, fried rice, Thai tea) has been exceptionally good every time. ✨️✨️✨️✨️“

“First time here and by far one of my favorite hibachi grills I’ve been to. First off our chef was amazing and funny and made it a true experience. Second the prices for a hibachi restaurant were reasonable and not outrageous. Third their food incredible and the portion sizes are bigger than what I’ve had at other Japanese steakhouses. I highly recommend this place.“

“Smelled so clean, staff was amazingly inviting and not bothersome at all, the food was more than delicious, and the prices were very fair! The cherry on top was that our waitress asked US if we wanted drinks to go. We didnt have to ask her! ❤️ We did go on a Tuesday so Im not sure how they are with a busier crowd but we loved it. We will definitely be back many times!“

I’ve been coming to Sarku Japan at Penn Square Mall since I moved to Oklahoma back in 2015 — and it’s still one of my favorite food spots in the entire OKC area! 🍗
Their chicken teriyaki plate with white rice, vegetables, and extra sauce is unbeatable. The flavor is rich, the portions are generous, and the quality is super consistent every time. It instantly reminded me of the variety of food I enjoyed living in Los Angeles — which was hard to find here back then, especially beyond fast food or Tex-Mex.
Even though Penn Square Mall has expanded and now offers more food choices, Sarku Japan still stands out as my #1. They also serve beef and shrimp options, and you can customize with noodles or fried rice (small upcharge but worth it!).
Honestly, my only complaint? I wish they had more locations throughout the OKC metro! If I had the capital, I’d open a spot myself. It’s that good. 💯
If you’re at the mall or just craving some top-tier teriyaki, this place is a must-try!

“Shogun is the best Japanese hibachi restaurant in town, hands down. Top notch food and service in a traditional environment. Semi-private dining, which i greatly prefer to standard open floor seating. Arrive early and relax in their uniquely atmospheric full-service lounge with a wide selection of import and domestic beer, as well as a delightful signature cocktail menu. Reservations required. Dinner service takes about an hour and a half from seating to dessert, so it's best to book before 7:30pm. For those unfamiliar with traditional hibachi, it is customary to offer a gratuity your chef directly, so bring cash. Shogun is a fantastic choice for any special occasion as they can easily accommodate groups of up to 20. Enjoy!“

“A Must-Try Under New Ownership! I'd always been hesitant to try this spot, but when I heard it was under new ownership, I knew I had to give it a chance. While I can't speak to the past, I can confidently say that under the new ownership, I'll absolutely be back! The family who runs it is incredibly kind, and the fish was fantastic! Everything tasted fresh, and they were generous with their cuts. They even gave us a sneak peek of an upcoming menu item: a seared salmon nigiri with crispy garlic chili oil. It was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to see what else these new owners have in store. If you've been on the fence, now's the time to give it a try!“

“Food is good, service is fast, staff is helpful and nice. Atmosphere is clean and tidy. Would be nice to have the floors a little nicer by using some concrete stain to do a design and a nice clear coat. Other than that, they keep everything nice and clean.“
