hashbrowns and mashed potatoes were the worst weve ever had, completely unseasoned. hashbrowns were thick and not crispy, with the texture of campbells chicken noodle soup pasta. mashed potatoes just looked like a literal mashed potato with no cream or milk or seasoning. instant wouldve been better. the other food was decent or pretty good, with the pancakes especially standing out as thick and cakey and yummy. service was really good and restauraunt was nice. just dont order potatoes there.

It's a very old building and a mom and pop cafe. They have things that range from a couple of bucks to 15 on the menu. I love this. It's friendly and community oriented. They have some old fashioned food that you normally don't find elsewhere. They have their regular senior crowd since the food is so budget friendly and good. And they're service is quick and kind. Like it was taken out of time and brought here for us to enjoy. They have daily specials at even better prices. They're near a college so it's def a place the kids can afford. Could use a bit of updating but overall you can't beat the price for the food you get. They close by 3pm.

This place was amazing! Fast friendly service. The food was generous portions with excellent prices. I had the ultimate omelette, grits and a biscuit for just $8.70 after tax!

I usually go on Friday for the fish however, this time around, I wanted chicken fried steak. Huge disappointment. CFS is not what it used to be. It's now a small breaded Patti slightly larger than a hamburger. Those use to cover half the plate. The mashed potatoes were cold and the gravy was inedible. The pinto beans were good. Reordered pork chop, salad and beans. Salad and beans were good. Pork chop was edible but not good. Should I go back it will only be for fish.

We stopped in for breakfast and were immediately seated by the nice wait staff. Our food came out surprisingly quickly, was exactly what you'd hope for in a casual diner, and was an excellent deal for the price. We'd definitely come back.

An absolutely amazing place! I got the chicken fried steak with okra and mashed potatoes. All of the food was extremely delicious and the waitress was friendly and efficient. The food did not cost a lot but tasted fantastic and had large portions. I would highly recommend eating here!
