My family ate dinner at Jinya on 8/3/2025. This was our first visit and we had high hopes for this restaurant. The food was just OK. Amy was our server and she didn't act like she really wanted to be there. It's super annoying when you have to ask your server for every single thing down to utensils and napkins. There was an accident at the table next to us where the Mom knocked over some sauce all over one of her kids. There was sauce all in his lap, all over the chair he was sitting in, and all over the floor. My husband got up and took the young man extra napkins to wipe his pants off, it was also my husband who switched his chair out for him. No one working at this restaurant offered to help, except for the young man who did come over and mop the floor. Most of the time the servers sit in the hallway that leads to the bathrooms, right across from where the to-go orders are placed. I went to the restroom and it was in awful condition. Why are there employees just sitting around??? We won't be back. Very disappointed. :(

Used to live in SF, California near Japantown. This is the only tonkotsu ramen that comes close to the real thing in OKC! Also the takoyaki were great!

Jinya in Nichols Hills is delicious - great vibes, feels upscale, and a lengthy menu of ramen options. Great place to take family when in town. The wait staff (Samira) was incredibly attentive on my most recent visit. And my Black Ramen was better than I’d remembered.
