We were greeted with smiling faces. Ordered and received quickly. Food was plated beautifully & the food was amazing. My favorite was the ease of ordering low carb & availability of sugar free syrup. Being diabetic, I often find it difficult to order healthy cafe meals.

What a pleasant surprise for a casual breakfast!
Distinctive, delicious breakfast options along with traditional offerings. I had the Eggs Cordon Bleu and was delighted with the meal. The staff obviously take pride in their presentations. Christie was the perfect hostess as well. I look forward to returning to Joey's Cafe on my next visit to the area!

We are visiting from Texas. Our breakfast was excellent. We had an omelet, eggs over easy, hash browns and banana nut pancakes. Everything was perfect. A pleasant surprise was the bacon pieces incorporated into the eggs used for the omelet, and the use of half or quarter sized pieces of walnut (rather than tiny fragments) in the pancake mix. I highly recommend Joey’s Cafe.

It's pretty sad how some owners just don't care about good service these days. They charged us an entire meal to replace a pancake with a waffle... $10.99 x 2 !!! When we approached the owner, he was so nonchalant about it and went on with his day. It's a shame.

We were told there would be a small upcharge to get waffles instead of pancakes. We were brought the food, no pancake/biscuit/muffin, just the eggs and hashbrowns on one plate, waffles on the other. Got our bill and they charged us for the meal (normal pancake price) PLUS a whole other waffle meal price. Double. We pointed it out and all that we got was a “yeah, sorry, no substitutes.” One of the other waitresses told our waitress that you have to tell people that and that they needed to take one off. They did not. They charged us full price. They lost our business.
Summer is superb! If you go to Joey's Cafe on May or over to 33rd and Broadway she works at both of them. She's superb. She noticed I need coffee and I wasn't her table. She took care of me. She got my coffee. She got water. She got me a napkin I didn't even ask for. I even saw her run so she could take care of her customers. I tipped her as well as my waiter. I will go back and ask for summer if you go there. Ask for summer. She is superb. 10 Stars

Ate here with a crew of guys. I don't think any of us left full. Small portions, mediocre quality, and big prices. Diner quality food at the price of Hatch or Neighborhood Jam. All these breakfast places are overpriced, but this one even more so considering they don't deliver on quality. If you want a regular, nothing fancy breakfast and don't mind overpaying for it, this is your place.
