Carinos used to be a favorite of ours, but the pandemic really affected them. Prices have gone way up, and now you have to pay an uncharge to get a Caesar salad or their soup instead of a house salad. The food is good, solid Italian, and the Chicken Parmesan is very tasty. They've improved their bread recipe. They remodeled after a fire, and while it's more open, it is very loud.

It’s loud in the restaurant and you feel like you’re yelling when talking to your table. Abel was our server, he was not great. Forgot our appetizer nachos, finally brought them after we got our food and after my wife asked about the nachos. They were cold since they had been sitting in the window the whole time. His excuse was that he asked someone else to serve them to us. Wouldn’t say he was overly busy as he just had a few tables. Worst service we’ve received at this location, kinda surprised as we’re always usually happy here. Still fans of the food, will come again, just hope they train better in the future.

I came here last week and sat at the bar. I got a drink and some food and it was pretty good. My only complaints are mostly about how loud it was and it was a bit busy so it took a while to get my food.

I had not eaten at Johnny Carino’s in sometime. The menu was expanded and lots of selection including burgers. Our service was good. The food was good but the pricing was higher than expected.

Food was decent! We got the lasagna and the Johnny's Favorite pizza in a regular which was around $20 the large was $33 ans after having the pizza the price js well worth it! I've had many many suprime pizzas and this one has been my favorite by a LONG SHOT, it has so many toppings but it's not overbearing, no one toping overpowers the other, they all blend perfectly. The pizzas are also cooked via a brick oven so the pizza had a WONDERFUL crunchy but not burnt crust. The dough is also amazing. When we sat our server was quick to get with us and get our drinks, we both got sweet tea and it was a pretty good sweet tea (I ended up getting 3 refills and one to go XD). My dad got the lasagna and it's was okay, was not the worst I've had but I've had better, the pizza is really what stands out the most. We also got a small side of mozzarella sticks and they where decent, I've had waaayyyy worse mozzarella sticks (cough cough chilli's) they aren't huge and ours where fried perfectly, the crust wasn't to thick or to thin, they just lacked a little flavor which might be because I don't eat them with marinara sauce, dad says the marinara sauce really good so I'm sure they would have been better with the sauce (I'm just not a fan of eating my mozzarella sticks with sauce). Over all really good and will be coming back for sure, worth the money if you are able to spend a little extra.
Pizza -10/10
Sweet tea - 8/10
Mozzarella sticks - 6/10 (for me) 8/10 for dad with the sauce
Lasagna - 7/10
And our server Heather was so sweet and checked on us in perfect time, not to often and not to slow, the manager even came to see how we (and other tables) where doing, both where very sweet! Would love to be waited on by Heather again!

I love Johnny Carinos. The food is amazing. This visit I ordered to go. It has been a while since I have been to Carinos because the one in my town closed. The food was still as good as I remembered, but it cost 30% more and there was 25%-is less food. The overall value is not there. I may not treat myself next time. Servers were also very helpful.

Incredibly over priced. Servers all seemed exhausted and like they were in the weeds despite it not being busy. However, the two managers on duty were obviously doing all they could to keep patrons happy though.

Food was undercooked. Told server & then chef comes out & proceeds to argue with me about food being undercooked. Brought another serving of same undercooked pasta. No sense in arguing with this person since he thinks he's gordon ramsay & the customer is always wrong. We won't be back & we will not suggest this place to anyone.

My family and I had enjoyed dining here for years. It was always a favorite spot, but things changed after the fire. Since reopening, it hasn’t been the same. We visited last week, our third time back since they reopened, and unfortunately, it still fell short of our expectations.
The atmosphere used to be warm and cozy, with a more authentic Italian vibe—think spices, wine racks, and themed photos and paintings. Now, it feels less inviting. The food, which was once a highlight, no longer matches its former quality. My son ordered his usual chicken parmigiana, but he barely touched it, which is unusual for him. The calamari, which used to be a standout, has a new recipe that doesn’t quite measure up. My wife's salad looked like it came from a bag having been finely chopped up in a blender.
On the positive side, the service is excellent. The staff is pleasant, attentive, and proactive, which is a definite plus. While the restaurant has made efforts to bounce back, I hope they can recapture the charm and quality that made it such a beloved spot for our family.

Food is okay but over priced for pasta. Restaurant has no atmosphere and was dirty. Server was not very good. Would ask a question and when we would start to answer she would just talk over us.... Guess that's why she forgot our no tomatoes and we need silverware and unsweetened tea not sweet. This place hasn't been good for awhile but we tried one more time. It's our last I'm guessing!

Ordered our food to go, we love the spicy shrimp/chicken penne dish, we ordered a small cesar salad, calamari, and bread. The calamari was small in size with many fried bits of nothing. They must fry them in the same basket as their pickles as we had friend pickles mixed in and the odd french fry, very sloppy. We were not impressed. The Cesar salad tasted like it was from a bag.
The main course, as always, is delicious. It was disappointing to only have 2 shrimp and a couple of pieces of chicken. Would've expected more for $25....
Save your money....we won't be back!
We were also only given one set of cutlery in to go the bag.
