I give this place 3 stars because the place makes me reminisce of my childhood 80's vibes and it makes my heart cozy, the shakes are good and the workers are kind hearted people but we didn't like the food much, i had a loaded potato it had tomatoes and red onions and it wasn't what I'm used to and it had very little cheese my daughter had a brisket dinner, it didn't look like brisket and it tasted like barbecued ham the cooked gave my daughter a free...
I went here for lunch with my kids on a Saturday. My kids are teens and we all like the vintage vibe (think 60's and before). First, the person at the register was friendly. She wasn't overly outgoing, but she was definitely polite and friendly. They gave us time to look over the menus (there is one menu for food and one for drinks/ice cream) without any added pressure, which was nice because we were looking for a laid back, stress free afternoon. This place is one of the great ice cream parlors (with a REAL Soda Fountain) left in America. A local treasure! They make their own ice cream which is awesome. I strongly recommend ordering a Vanilla Malt Shake, with extra in the can. Epic! They serve food as well. Why go anywhere else?
