Strange how this is a Thai restaurant but have Philippine owners?.. so not sure if it’s truly authentic Thai food. Mid place for boba. I ordered Thai tea in the morning on the way to work and it was my first time here.. I prefer my Thai tea to be real and freshly brewed not made from powder, but from the taste of it I think they make their Thai tea with powder. I asked for the black sugar boba and to give a light amount of it but the older lady gave me crystal boba instead. Not sure if she didn’t want to waste it on a request for a light amount of it or what but I won’t be returning. Didn’t wow me one bit. I only took a few sips, I couldn't finish the drink and threw it away. There are much better and more authentic boba places in OKC like Tiger Sugar and Gong Cha.

This place is great. The owner is super nice. Was craving crab Rangoon and drove into town just to eat here. Her’s are, by far, the best. Also got a Thai tea with boba. The tea seems just a bit stronger which offsets the sweetness. So good!! Come see them. There’s only three or four tables so be prepared to get it to go.

Cozy place with great service. They were super sweet and the texture on the chicken was PERFECT. First place I've tried where the regular fried chicken competes with what I can make at home!

Sauce was delicious (you'll definitely want more!) And I really enjoyed the honeydew sticky milk tea. Never tried it and wasnt 100% sure on how the texture would taste, but it mixes into the milk and creates the perfect level of creaminess. Highly recommend!

I went in and got the fried chicken Thai chicken rice, and an oolong milk tea, and it's fantastic! Chicken tayed crispy on the drive home, nice flavor, good sauces, and the tea isn't overly sweet so you still taste the tea. The staff were really nice and led me through the menu as it was my first time going. I will be going back!

The food at kao mun gai is delicious! We first started going here a couple years ago for their boba tea, which used to be 10/10. they recently removed tapioca bobas from their menu options for their teas, and it just isn't the same anymore! Bring back the old boba option and it would be 5 stars!

My mother has ordered take out from here for yearssssss. We always order the Kao Mun Gai, would feel silly not to when it's the name of the restaurant. They've added way more to their menu since I've been last, I think they used to only sell a few select items. I'm happy to see their business grow! Their chicken rice will always be our favorite. The owners are lovely and they're quick on their take out orders. They deserve more traction!

I’ve been a loyal Kao mun gai customer for around 3 years now, but my experience today was pretty underwhelming. Whoever was working the front could not understand me. I placed an order over the phone for a regular fried Kao mun gai, and she said it would be ready in 5-6 minutes. Great! But I show up, and when I speak with her she asked if I had chicken pad thai and “fried chicken fried rice”? And I said I had the fried Kai mun gai. She said ok and took the pad thai off my order. I then waited 25 minutes to receive the incorrect order lol. I was given chicken fried rice. I understand language barriers can make communication difficult, but it seems like she just did not know the menu and guessed what I might want.

If you're a fan of boba tea, this charming little spot is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the friendly employees make you feel right at home, offering a warm welcome and helpful suggestions if you're unsure of what to try.
One of the standout drinks is the pink matcha tea. It's absolutely delicious—perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and the vibrant color adds a fun touch. The matcha flavor is rich, with a smooth and creamy texture that pairs perfectly with the chewy boba. You can tell that they really put thought and care into each drink.

Overall, this spot is a must-visit for boba lovers. With friendly service, a diverse selection, and standout drinks like the pink matcha, it’s a perfect place to grab a refreshing treat. I didn’t get a chance to try any of the food since we specifically came to try the tea, but will definitely be back because the food looked and smelled amazing.

Ordered a combo pad Thai and was disappointed. Bland and the three shrimp were like rubber and still had the tails on, the chicken was dry and did not have flavor. The crab Rangoon are very good though. The place is small and clean but the chairs are tiny and uncomfortable.

I usally come in every now and then to get the same order but after today I’m not so sure. I went in and I received the incorrect order and was asked to wait 10 minutes, which wasn’t a big deal. However right after this transaction the cashier spoke in spanish to another customer about how she couldn’t understand me when I was trying to explain the correct order. She proceeded to say I needed to speak better english not knowing I’m fully capable of speaking not just english but spanish and many other languages. I’m just very disappointed that I was facing racism as an asian person in an asian restaurant being told to speak English by another person of color. It very ironic. I’m disappointed because I used to enjoy this restaurant and think the employees were so nice and helpful. I hope you learn from this incident so you can be more aware of what you say around your customers in the future.
