Based on what I've seen, I personally think that this place absolutely DESERVES to be featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. Why haven't they yet?

Stopped by from out of town on a whim as we had eaten at a nearby restaurant. Had the Plain Jane cake. Best white cake I’ve had (and I’m a baker!)!!

interesting location that looks like a midwestern house albeit with a window that serves cookies and drinks. i tried the brownie and it was delicious and you can tell they are practically homemade. the tea is also quite enjoyable.

I had such a great time here at Katiebugs, I always want to go back. I met a friend here on a chilly fall morning to get cider and treats and to catch up. They have a nearby parking lot that is nice to use. I loved just getting to sit and chat with her in such a wonderfully decorated space. Put me in a great fall mood. The picnic tables were fun to sit at and take pictures. I loved the mini donuts I purchased, they were so good. The cider was piping hot which was perfect for the cold. You cannot go inside, so be prepared for any weather. We snagged some pumpkins for our front porches and then walked around the other nearby shops. Such a sweet time. I really wanted to go back on my birthday but they were closed on Tuesdays. Check their hours. I would love this to be a yearly tradition with my friend!

By far the best bakery around. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu - whether the rotating specials or the fixed menu items. It’s a family run spot and it shows: everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They also go out of their way to accommodate dietary and allergy restrictions.

This local OKC business has a special place on our hearts now! A must visit and experience the hot chocolate with a homemade marshmallow and sweet eat treat... everything is spectacular. Quaint. Decorated. Charming. Clean. Sassy. Yummy.

I’ve tried countless bakeries in OKC, all had subpar meh cookies. Katiebug’s cookies are honestly outstanding. They make great gifts and the iced coffee is delicious.

Wanted a little something sweet after lunch and the cookie I had was fantastic!! Just a basic sugar cookie but it tasted great!

It was my first trip to Katie Bugs. I heard about it from the USA Today article proclaiming it #2 in the 10 Best Cookie Stores in the United States. I got a pumpkin whoopie pie, a homemade Twix cookie, a cookies and cream cookie, and a dessert bar that a bunch of us split up to sample a bite of everything. It's amazing!!! We loved everything we tried! No matter what you get, it will be delicious. Here's the part that bothered me: there's no posted menu anywhere. It tells you to go online, but that's a list of what they sell, not the flavors. There's one menu taped to the counter at the pickup window, so the line is long because you can't plan your order. The other thing is that they offer NOTHING for people with mobility issues. There are several stairs up to the only window to order from and a plastic "dividing chain" on the stairs for line organization that is a fall hazard because it's not attached to anything. There's no indoor seating, so the elements are in play. It was the last day of September, and in the mid 90s. So sweaty! Elements include flying insects, so besides the garbage cans, the pumpkin patch is also a big draw for bugs. The days and hours are highly restrictive.Choose wisely!

The best cookies I have ever had. Went for the He Who Must Not Be Named celebration which was fun.
