I love going here but when it gets busy thts when quality of the service goes down, I would recommend ordering something simple to make for the bartenders if you want a quick and tasty drink.

A Hidden Gem at The National

I had the pleasure of visiting the speakeasy tucked away inside The National, and it was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere effortlessly blends luxury with a modern, sleek design—making it the perfect setting for a memorable night out. The staff were absolutely delightful, adding a personal touch to the evening with their friendly and engaging demeanor.

As for the drinks, they were nothing short of spectacular. Crafted with precision and served with flair, each cocktail felt like a work of art. The vibe was relaxed yet sophisticated, offering the ideal balance of intimacy and class.

Beautiful, swanky upscale bar in a historic building. Atmosphere was great, waitress was great, drink was delicious. Partially underground so cell service wasn’t great. Cool history with some original bank artifacts still present. Definitely recommend stopping in. Also offers bar bites.

Ordered a neat stag and then it came over ice…. 😅 When mentioned it to the wait-staff they darted their eyes, snatched it from our hands, didn’t mutter a simple “oh let me look into that” and walked away.

After enough time passed… they finally bring back the drink…. Strained this time…..for whiskey drinkers… this matters…so we asked it be remade neat once again as if THEY were the ones being inconvenience the drank was snatched up… It was only then the waiter comes back to ask if we had a tab started…. Or would be paying now… Go figures…. Right? I believe the timing was intentional.

When the bill came the double stag was $90!!! An entire bottle can be purchased at $70 msrp. I believe this was intentional as well. When we brought up the concern the manager was able to QUICKLY cut the stag cost in HALF.

Overall not impressed with the friendliness or quality of service for this type of establishment. Lacks basic professionalism.

came here for a work holiday party and i absolutely loved the way the place looked. it’s so cool that it used to be a bank! Also lots of seating places

A very unique and interesting spot in OKC! Worth checking out if you are already in the building, and drinks were good. Definitely a specific type of demographic here. Drinks are expensive, bartenders seemed overworked, and the dark environment is alright.

Fantastic experience all-around, very cool ambiance as it is literally hosted in the old bank's vault! Food is very expensive and flavorful, the drinks are somewhat reasonable but still $15+ per cocktail.
Highly recommend the charcuterie board.

Great to experience at least once - definitely come by if you're in the area! Staff are also lovely.
