Ma Der Lao Kitchen

Ma Der is a go to spot in general but if there is a pop up of any kind you need to set your alarm and get a reservation and go! Food and service is always impeccable. You will get to taste food that you've never experienced before at these pop ups. And even though I've had everything on the regular menu many times over it never disappoints when I go back. And Freestyle Friday (new special each week on Fridays) is also a must. I have their instagram posts and stories on alert so I can make sure I know what's going on. I give Ma Der a 12/10!

This has been my favorite food since April 2025! The flavors are too good, and the service has improved! I feel so satisfied after I eat here, and it doesn't make me feel to full. I usually have a to go box full of food, and it's so delicious the next day. I usually spend about 50.00 by myself, because I like ordering a variety of foods, I would say the plates are share size.

My partner and I visited for the first time last night, and it was wonderful. Our server, Braden was a delight, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. We got the Crispy Rice Salad, two sticky rice, and the beef skewers. The food was immaculate, I wouldn’t have changed a thing. We finished our meal with the galette-a perfect end to a perfect meal.

The service and atmosphere were wonderful. Our waiter was attentive and fast. This was my first time here and everyone raved about the chicken noodle soup. I did not like it. It was very slimy. I'm not exaggerating. I'm not sure if that is how it's supposed to be, but I did not like it. The texture was just off.

Pretty small place, probably better to have a reservation, if they take them. I felt like we sat there waiting a bit before our order was taken. Longer than I would have liked anyway. The food was good, no complaints. My most favorite was the Fried Chicken I think. The sticky rice got hard pretty quickly.
