This site said open until 7pm but we get there and it looked like restaurant was out of business. This was the second soul food restaurant that said open but not open.

I am going to be unapologetically country and tell you the home cooking I was craving was so oh my goodness, hurt yo'self, mouth watering, and good. The pig feet were so tender and fall off the bone delicious. It was hard to be cute while eating them, but I think I pulled it off.

My Husband and I decided to eat here while we were in OKC on Thursday, before heading to the casino. LOLI had the fried chicken wings, okra, greens, and black eyed peas. ALL DELICIOUS, I just wish my wings were a little warmer, but I ate all of them. They were seasoned REALLY WELL.??Hunni had the pig feet, okra, mac and cheese, and cucumbers/tomatoes/onions salad. He said the pig feet were the best he's ever had; everything was GOOD!!! The Kool Aid...WOW!!! Amazing!!!Next time we're in OKC, we'll be hitting them up again.????? 09.09.23
I will not go back here to eat. I bought vegetables and when I got home to eat I took a bite of Mt cabbage and there was a piece of hard something. I looked at it and it was a piece of plastic with foil around the edge. I took it back to them and wasn't offered my money back but they would replace it. Why would I want more food when I just found this in my food. .Person seemed uncaring that I brought it back. It's clearly blends in with the cabbage

The restaurant was HOT. No A/C and fans blowing. The service was great. The food was good, but not over the top. We'd heard these were the best wings in the state. While they were very good, I have a hard time believing there are none better in OK. The wings were larger than most, but they were pricey, too. The okra was really good and the catfish was great, too. All in all, if I had just stopped in for food, I would've been satisfied, but since I was anticipating the best wings in OK, I was a bit disappointed.

I had the opportunity to dine in at Mama E yesterday for lunch. It seem to me the AC unit was not working, so it was super hot inside the restaurant. I order the two meat fried chicken wings, and fried catfish. The chicken was was warm, with no flavor and super dry. The catfish was actually good, but it was warm and soggy, making me put it to the side. 3 sides came with the meal, and I got collard greens, black eye peas, and cabbage. The black eye peas tasted like they just opened the can and served it cause it, horrible. The cabbage was terrible, and the green was okay. I will not return to due to horrible first impression.

The lady was very nice the service was quick and efficient but the food is not good at all I got smothered chicken mash potatoes and Mac and cheese. The potatoes are powder potatoes the Mac and cheese had a weird taste to them and the chicken was really dry even though it was smothered in gravy. Wish the cook took pride in his

Some of the best food I've had in a while! The sides are amazing. Yams, homemade Mac n cheese, dressing and gravy, okra gumbo are the best. The service is fantastic. The folks are friendly and helpful.
