I had the Chicken Jollof delivered to my house through Uber Eats and OH BOY. I'm so excited to order it again. It's so good. I can't eat it quietly. I wish there was an option to order without meat but with extra plantains because they're SO GOOD. The flavor is rich, the food was hot even though it had to travel quite a ways to get to me, and I'm SO HAPPY. YUM.

Alot of grizzle on meat, but still good

This will be my new place! It tastes great and it didn’t take all day to make. Some places have you wait over 30 mins and that’s after you’ve called in advance. Thanks for much for the great service! GREAT PRICES TOO!!

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, my experience wasn’t great. I ordered okra soup with chicken and pounded yam, jollof rice with chicken, and an extra side of soup (which cost $5). The person who took my order wasn’t exactly friendly not the worst, but definitely not welcoming either. I get that everyone has off days, so I tried not to let that bother me too much.

What did surprise me was how fast the food came out. That should’ve been a red flag, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt and headed home to try it.

First thing I noticed: the okra soup was cold and super watery. I figured maybe heating it up would help it didn’t. It tasted off, the texture wasn’t right, and it lacked flavor. The chicken that came with it tasted old—dry, flavorless, and had that “leftover from a few days ago” look and feel.

The $5 extra soup came in the tiniest container, but at that point, I wasn’t even surprised.

Then there was the jollof rice. Also cold. The rice was clearly pre-made, and the chicken it came with was just as dry and flavorless as the one from the soup definitely not fresh.

I was hesitant to try this place again because of some recent bad reviews, but I’d had it before and didn’t think it was terrible. After this time though, I agree with those reviews. From the cold food to the lack of flavor and poor service, it just wasn’t worth it. Honestly, I’d suggest trying somewhere else.

The store has some me African foodstuffs though for some foods like fish, the quality looked a little compromised. I was however able to get some spices that I had been looking for, for a long by time.
It was a good place to shop if one is looking to eat a home made African meal

Being My First Time I Ordered Over The Phone The FuFu Egusi And A Side Of Rice So When I Got There I’m Thinking It’s The Soup FuFu Smh So I Went To My Car And Check Before I Left Because I Wanted To Make Sure That’s What I Wanted It Looked Dry So I Went Back In And Informed Them That It Wasn’t What I Wanted I Bought The Soup Because They Remade It So I Just Wanted A Refund For The Other Order Which Was The Same Damn Price 18.46 But They Didn’t Want To Give Me A Refund They Wanted To Charge Me For The Side Of Rice And Then Give Me A Refund 🙄 Never Said Sorry About That Come Back And See Us I Didn’t Feel The Welcome I’ll Never Return To That Location I Should’ve Went To NAIJA WIFE KITCHEN!!

It's the real spices you can taste. I noticed they never send out burnt food like the other restaurants and always good. I only like spinach soup with fufu. I will come back when Im having a taste for it. Prices & portion are good

I thought it was a good experience, honestly when I came to this place it was out of pure curiosity. The atmosphere is very nice and the people who work there are great. I recommend especially if you want to try something new.
