I ordered a pizza for delivery and was told it would be 40 minutes. No problem, until it’s an hour and a half later and still no pizza. I call to see what’s going on, and they canceled the order because they didn’t have any drivers. I work in the food industry, I understand being short staffed, but to let me wait for over an hour and a half without at least giving me a call to let me know it can’t be delivered is bullcrap. It’s unfortunate because I spend a lot of money here, but never again. Horrible customer service.

I enjoy meeting up with friends on Tuesday night to have Mazzio’s $8.99 buffet. It includes various kinds of pizzas, salad bar, pasta, breadsticks and dessert, all for the price listed above. The employees are friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. If you would like a specific pizza, that isn’t on the pizza bar, they will make exactly what you want without any additional costs. All the buffet items are fresh and are at their appropriate temperature. If you’re looking for a fun, relaxing evening which doesn’t involve meal prep, but good food, Mazzio’s is the place to be on Tuesday evenings.

We ordered an extreme supreme pizza from Mazzio’s on N. Rockwell tonight as we have many times before. I think we must have received someone else’s order. This pizza had pepperoni, sausage and cheese. There were a couple hints of green pepper, four black olives, no red onion. I ordered double mozzarella which was not on this pizza. I don’t know if they have changed the recipe or the staff on duty didn’t care. This does reflect very poorly on this long time pizza joint.
I haven’t ate Mazzio’s in about 2 years BUT I was really craving their calzone all of a sudden so I stopped. Everything was fresh and fast. The food was good but the calzone was mostly cheese with little to no meat… other than that it was great. ?
