I came on on today to celebrate my birthday on tomorrow with Janet Jackson, and decided to visit this vegan restaurant. I was talking to the hostess and found out we were from the same state everyone was very nice and kept checking on us to make sure we were good. I've never eaten vegan before, but I tell you one thing I will most definitely be going tomorrow everything taste natural and fresh.

I love eating at Mushwings. My go-to are the BBQ Mushwings.
Basically they create wings out of oyster mushrooms. They are done just perfectly. I bring these to events all the time, and even meat eaters LOVE them!! If you haven't tried them yet, you are missing out.
Their location feels sketchy at first, but I like how they even address that in a funny manner on their social media.
I truly don't understand the hate I see them get online, because their food has always been nothing but INCREDIBLE and the owners have been extremely kind and helpful!
My only wish is that they were open during lunchtime during the week, so I can have this on my lunch break.

Very slow service. Beyond slow. Waited an hour for the lady to get an attitude and tell me I ordered at 6:30 and it's only 7:25. She let me know there were a lot of people in front of me in the building. It was two people. I was excited to try it. Looks like the food was good, but I couldn't wait another hour to find out.

I cannot lie.. trying to find this place had me feeling like I was in Alice in Wonderland but lord was the journey worth it. I took a bite on my way home and ended up eating the entire 8 piece combo before I even arrived to my destination. The vegan soul food in this city is unmatched. I'll be back for sure.
You remember hearing Chocolate City from Zapp & Roger for the first time? (If you never have, please add this to your collection and jam out) but it was just something you had to vibe to. Well that’s what this spicy Lemon pepper and honey bbq mush wings was like. I could literally go back everyday and ask for the same thing and go broke buying that food it’s so good!! You know how many trashy vegan restaurants I’ve been too and the food is never seasoned and the batter is ALWAYS SOGGY AFTER 30 seconds and they wanna charge you a $50 per plate! ? (Sorry for the rant) Overall, there’s only a handful of good vegan restaurants out there and you good sir are the cream of the crop!! Bravo good sir! Bravo!

Let me tell you… I definitely underestimated how these would taste and even how they would truly simulate wings. Of course people says they can make vegan wings, but to truly be able to make them LOOK and TASTE like wings??? Yeah. MushWings has something up their sleeves.
My dad is the most carnivorous man I know but even he couldn’t keep his hands out of my plate. He even liked the vegan ranch!
Vegan isn’t even in his vocabulary but MushWings can make even a meat eater go green!!

My husband got both variations of the lemon pepper wings and I got the sandwich. Everything was so good I think I was probably screaming the entire time I was eating it. I’ve only been eating vegan for a few months and I’ve really missed crispy chicken sandwiches. The sandwich from this place didn’t only satisfy my cravings, it was actually monumentally better than any chicken I’ve ever had! And it was huge! 10/10 recommend!
