New State pretty much nails everything they put on the menu.The New State Cheeseburger is the way to go if it’s your first time visiting. Double patties, cheese, house-made Dijonnaise, and the ingenious diced pickles and red onions. You get a crunch in every bite, it’s sublime!The buns are always fresh and toasted on the bottoms, the patties are always fresh, hot and the melty cheese perfectly sandwiched between!Also, their “standard” fries are anything but standard, think fancy truffle fries without the truffle oil. You can’t go wrong with the cheese fries or cheese tots either.The chicken nugget meal is also an awesome value and delicious! The nugg sauce they make is like crack.As the name implies; ..& Spirits - New state has a phenomenal cocktail program and you seriously won’t be disappointed no matter what you choose. From their delicious craft beer on tap to their best-in-class Old Fashioned, they make it all and they make it well!Definitely my favorite burger in the city, they never disappoint!Vegetarian options: Black bean burger and beyond meatParking: A couple spots right up front, a few across the street, street parking around throughout the neighborhood, and a paid lot across the street (avoid at all costs)

Terrible service. The staff are rude and disrespectful. We waited more than 30 minutes and nobody even looked at us and after asking them to come to our table they ignored us and we had to get up and leave.

I really enjoyed the burger. I ordered their standard double cheese burger and added bacon and fried shallots. It was very good and a step above your average burger. I have a fairly strict grading scale with burgers which is why it's not a 5 star but it's very good. Great service too.

I checked out New State Burgers in OKC last Friday. Their burgers are hyped as the city’s best, and honestly, they’re pretty awesome. The toppings were spot on, and those parmesan fries? Amazing.Here’s the kicker—my partner and I both ended up with food poisoning. Not great, but I’m not giving up on them yet. The food’s too good, and I’m hoping they’ll fix whatever went wrong. Definitely going back for more burgers!Update: Following another visit, we once again suffered from food poisoning the next day. I find it difficult to recommend this restaurant now, as it appears they aren’t cooking their burgers to a safe temperature. They seem to aim for juiciness by leaving the burgers with a pink center, but this compromises health safety. It’s disappointing because this was my favorite spot in OKC, but their food handling practices are concerning.
