Undercooked burgers. $20 for a burger and fries .
Nic’s is legit. Went there with an out of towner who wanted a local joint and as soon as we walked in he said “this is what I’m talkin’ about.” Smells like an old dive bar, sat at the bar facing the griddles, food is insanely good, and the only thing that threw us was cash only. $18.50 for a burger/fry/drink may seem like a lot until your first bite. From then on it’ll all make sense and is worth every penny.

Yes this burger is too expensive. Granted. However, this is perhaps the best burger I have ever had. Soooo, WORTH IT!
I read another review that said you should just go to Tuckers instead because it’s cheaper and basically the same. That review almost convinced me not to go. Well I’m glad I didn’t listen to that moron.
The burger was unlike any other and I was genuinely sad when I finished it. And what’s nuts is I don’t normally like chonky burgers like this. I’m a smash burger man, yet this is my favorite burger. Can’t really describe why with words. It melts in your mouth and has some crunchy bits. IDK, it’s perfection.
As for the restaurant, it’s an experience. Everyone knows each other, and Nic is so loved by them all. He is super kind and friendly to every stranger. He exudes the kind OKC persona that I felt in that city.
Don’t listen to anyone who tells you not to go to this American treasure. Some people can find fault with perfection because they are miserable.
(BTW, go to Tuckers as well. It’s a solid 8.5, but this is a 12)

Delicious onion burgers and fries!
Great old fashioned hamburger joint. Eating here is like stepping back in time. Prices are a bit steep, but absolutely worth it as the food is made of food. Pro tip, if they have the cookies, get one, they are homemade goodness.

Great service, had burger and drink started for me before the door closed behind me. Everything cooked to order, very small, unique place, lively vine. They serve burgers and fries, that’s it, and they are very good.
