I took a door dash delivery and I waited over 30 minutes for the order. While waiting people that came in after me got there order before I did.

I had the miso salmon nigiri. It was a good plate. Had some other nigiri and sushi also. Good, but overpriced overall. The cocktails were great, honestly the best part of our visit, but overpriced. We asked to see the happy hour menu and the server seemed annoyed even though we got there with 30 minutes left in it and we were the only patrons in there at that time. Also the waitress checked her clock when I ordered more nigiri 2 minutes before 6. Funny thing about it was that we didn't get anything from that happy hour menu the whole visit anyway. She was friendly otherwise but her checking of her watch multiple times and telling us how much time was left in happy hour made us uncomfortable, especially since we didn't order anything from the happy hour menu.

The service and the restaurant itself was great. It's a cool place with friendly workers that were quick and attentive. However, the prices are much too high and the presentation, taste and portion was poor. The fish was good quality but the rest of the meal was more or less disappointing. This is not somewhere I would go back to.

I normally go to another Sushi Bar however, they are closed on Monday. On my way home, i passed this establishment which i decided to try. As you may know each Sushi bar has their own names for their rolls. I didnt actually know all the ingredients of my favorite...so i viewed the menu for some time. Tammy a beautiful young lady on staff came to help me. I told her it was my first time at that particular place and that normally visit another Sushi bar. Not only did she look that place up but she viewed the menu and requested that i have a special order made duplicated what i wanted. She was pleasant and accommodating, offered me great customer service that i love... i felt very welcomed and...the food was great. I would recommend this place for sure...???? ? ?

This used to be one of my favorite sushi restaurants. Since my last visit a couple weeks ago, the menu has changed: My favorite menu item, the chirashi bowl ($25.95) has been removed, and the most similar menu item is the sashimi combination ($30) with a side of sushi rice ($5). For additional $10, the quality of the fish is still good, but the presentation and value are lost. The seared tuna salad is also excellent and luckily still available. Overall, I'm still disappointed at the change and may or may not be back.

I ordered five nigiri and one Americanized sushi roll. The nigiri was well constructed. The slice of fish extended beyond the bed of rice which is typically more than you get in an American restaurant. The bed of rice was smaller than average and closer to the amount of rice you may receive in Japan. However, the fish was bland which is probably caused by their ageing process and the quality of the fish they used. The Americanized sushi roll was called the, "Mountain Roll". I don't normally order these types of rolls because I'm not a fan of their typical non-traditional ingredients (cream cheese, avocado, mango, fried or tempura ingredients, and mayo based sauces), but I was curious to see if the flavors may compliment each other well. The roll was good but I wasn't able to distinguish between the ingredients. I would have preferred a dynamic sense of flavours given all of the ingredients. The roll was also smaller in diameter than is typically served in a sushi restaurant in the U.S. It was probably an attempt to reduce the restaurant's cost.As one may tell if one has read this far, I am very selective with my choice of sushi and favor traditional Japanese sushi. I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the ingredients and will not return to this restaurant. However, if you are not concerned with receiving the highest quality sushi you may enjoy the food here.

The food is good across the board, but the dine-in atmosphere doesn't have much character. The service staff seems to know this as well, Ocean81 is definitely the type of place you should order online.

One star review because i was Charged 20% gratuity. The employee said it was noted in the menu. (The menu that you have to look at on your phone … guess a person needs to look at every single bit of writing on the menu to make sure your not being tricked into agreeing to come thing Menu states parties of 6 or more are charged 20%. My party had 4 people in it….

I came for lunch and got an appetizer and a single roll. The food was good. I like both the calamari and the OMG roll. However, my bill was over $40 for those two items and hot tea.No complaints about food or service, but it just wasn’t special enough to spend $50 after tip for lunch for one. I found everything on the menu to be high and don’t intend to go back.
