Always a good experience! Fast and friendly service.
I met a friend for lunch and I had the Byob (build your own bagel). I got the everything bagel with turkey, cream cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. It was delicious 😋.
The bacon, chive and onion cream cheese is AMAZING.
Great service and delicious New York style bagels. The lox was perfect.
The food was comparable to an egg mcmuffin. Pre-made eggs, packaged ham, microwaved to perfect toughness. Don't get me wrong, if I was in a rush as I was today....it met the need for food and it didn't taste bad. But $7 for a microwaved breakfast sandwich was meeting basic food requirements not an experience or one to rave about.
Before the renovations it was cozy and cute and had fish, now it's like a corporate building. I don't understand why they changed the ENTIRE layout. The food is good though it's just not the same place I used to go to. I still stop by on my lunch break but the food is still good. The bagels can be hard though. And usually by noon they are out of garlic bagels, just prepare more.
I love Old School. The food is consistent and delicious every time.
I want to preface this with, I plan on trying this in person but I wanted to highlight their online ordering system this round. I was going to place an online order for a couple dozen bagels and some spreads but ended up not placing the order because I was required to set up an account. And to set up the account, I had to provide my name, phone number, email, and birthdate. I understand I could have just provided fake info and moved on, but the requirement to create an account just to order something, is a pet peeve of mine.
The toasted bagel breakfast and lunch sandwiches are particularly nice with jalapeno cream cheese. The manager, Karen, is extremely friendly and helpful. I go here for a nice calm break in my day too.
Karen Barthel thanku for the most wonderful hospitality ever n a very clean & friendly restaurant. our order was fast done right delicious & way cheaper then McDonald's if I'm aloud to mention that. the box of onions & garlic bagel r wonderful. Thanku and your husband + the tall worker forgot his name for a lovely lunch. Me my husband & grandson will return again.

Pretty disappointed in the change in quality. I ordered a toasted bagel with egg and cheese, a fruit cup, and the honey almond cream cheese. The bagel was warmed but not toasted, making it a little wet and slimy. Their bagel selection is more limited than it used to be. The fruit cup was about half cantaloupe, otherwise the fruit was fresh, just a small portion for $5. The honey almond cream cheese is barely sweet, almost salty. Needs more honey. This is probably my last visit.
