The food was really good. I ordered the ropa vieja and my husband the fried pork and both were really good. As an appetizer we ordered the empanadas and they were amazing. The lemonade was outstanding. However, the place was not pretty…looks more like a pub to hang out at night but if that is what is looking for then I guess is okay. Is not for a date night.

Very limited menu. No beans for the rice. Rice was cold when it came out. Only 1 soda item and lemonade. Very very disappointed. I had visited this location awhile ago before they closed it down and the food was outstanding. Lots of menu options. I’m Puerto Rican and sometimes you just don’t want to cook. So took my husband on our date night just to be dissatisfied with what they had. I’m sad to say will not go back. Hopefully they will do better.
Went to Paladar Cubano for the first time and was not disappointed. I ordered the Ropa vieja as my main entree and it was amazing. Cooked to perfection. The fried yucca as an appetizer was great as well and the guayaba batida was very fresh and tasty. My family is from Puerto Rico and we have similar cuisine as Cuba and we all really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend.
