First time experiencing this place all I can say is this a hidden Gem if you haven't had any of this you need to go get some I got the oxtails they was delicious everything was and satisfying I'm definitely going to return for another plate very good food.

My 1st time eating here and I wish I would've just went to get some Prince Hall chicken instead no taste under cooked. Price too high. The service was awesome he was nice. Never going there again and the hype isn't what I expected. Very disappointed and still gotta go home and find something to eat. I'm hurt and really want a refund ??????

They were supposed to open at 6......I got there early, but that was ok.... about 5:20....It came around 6......Then 6:30,...I'm disabled and they seen this....I hollowed at everyone coming out..... finally at 6:45, I got this very sweet Man come help me....he went to get my order, then I ordered more.......I got waited on by a Very Sweet Woman......but after $100 dollars, I finally got to leave at 7:20........food was ok, but not worth the wait or Money

We got another one y’all this food is 10 out of 10 service 10 out of 10. Even the presentation, the warmth of the food it’s not even made to order and it’s still taste so fresh so good they want me over today. I got a pork chop meatloaf with a side of Black Eyed Peas and a corn on the cob and I have no complaints. Polks house might not look like much from the outside or the inside but best believe you’re going to get some genuine down south cooking in this establishment very respectful workers quick service I will be back

I was in line with 4 people ahead of me,it took over 40 minutes to get service,my food didn't have to be dropped, it was right there ready to box.. one bigger guy up front, & two ladies,that couldn't even fit around him to serve customers,we finally gave up & left!!! This is the second time trying,they take entirely to long to serve the customers..

They must be on CP time. I pulled up at 645 pm on a Saturday and they weren't open. A gentle who appeared to be waiting said, "they open at 7. I waited, its now 706pm and they still ain't open. This is my experience on my 1st visit. ??.
