Cute space but not very cozy. I would consider going back to get work or studying done as it's a great set up for that. They had fun seasonal specials (an oatmeal cookie latte and another with chai and some unique spices I can't remember off hand). Biggest downside for me was the price and size. I've sadly grown accustomed to lattes being $6, but the size of this one felt almost offensive. Wish they had sizes and prices listed so I could have adjusted expectations before ordering.

Best coffee in OKC. Depth of flavor, varietals and interesting menu options.

I came here with some friends for a morning coffee. I got the seasonal granny latte. It was perfection!! I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delicious coffee!

Dietary restrictions: They have alternative milks available for substitutions in the drinks.

Parking: The coffee roaster is on the 2nd floor of a market. There is a large parking lot in front of the market.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are stairs to get up to the coffee area, it is not wheelchair accessible.

This small size is a bit overpriced, but ah, the taste is super delicious! It's located on the second floor

Their coffee and lattes are super good. Some of the best I’ve tasted. Even when you order a sweetened latte you still mostly taste the espresso instead of sugary milk. They’re pastured are also really good. I didn’t give it 5 starts though because they don’t have a lot of seating options (they’re chairs aren’t the most comfortable), they don’t have a lot of options in terms of flavors in your drink or pastries, and the baristas aren’t the most friendly. But I rated it so highly still because they’re really good at making delicious coffee drinks.

Amazing vibe. Friendly staff. Delicious drinks. They also have really good fresh baked goods from local bakeries. They have options for everyone. You HAVE to try the sweet almond tea with a tea cake. Thank me later.

Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a private elevator

I often scout the OKC metro area for good coffee shops, and I’ve heard plenty about PreLude Coffee Roasters, so decided to give it a shot. I ordered an iced cinnamon and vanilla oat milk latte with a blueberry cream cheese danish. The danish was pretty good, just your regular coffee shop danish, and the coffee had a great flavor! However, whenever ordering, I inquired about their seasonal drinks, which were flavored with pistachio. I asked if I could have a pistachio latte, and the barista said they weren’t able to add any other flavoring to drinks other than vanilla, mocha, cinnamon, and honey. I was a little confused considering they specialize in coffee, yet have such limited options for the customer to order? So all in all, my coffee tasted great, and the ambiance was great, but I just wouldn’t personally go back due to the lack of options.

This is the place I take my friends to show off. And where I spend hours lesson planning. And where my husband and I try the specials on date nights and overhear the trivia happening downstairs. And where there aren’t handles on the mugs so my left-handed self can drink out of the pretty side of the latte art.

Parking: Recently, they added double the parking. And this is the closest free parking to the streetcar line I’ve found.

Ordered a mocha; had no expectations but coffee wasn’t very good. Wife says it reminded her of “instant coffee” although she did say the foam on top “looked pretty”. Chairs were not very comfortable for us, but they were very modern. Not impressed, but I could see where someone would like the atmosphere.

The heavy ceramic cups and saucers were nice in their own way, but cups had NO HANDLE. You have to hold your drink with two hands, so it may be problematic for some.

Went there on a Sunday afternoon about 4:30, there was some guy emceeing a (trivia?) game of some sort downstairs. His captive audience didn’t seem engaged, and his amplified voice was booming throughout the open floor plan of the building. It wasn’t Prelude’s fault, of course, but between the booming and snippets of top-40 music it became difficult to stay.

Ordered a 5lb bag of coffee and it showed up and it tasted burnt and very acidic. This is not normal for them so I reached out to let them know and see if there’s anything we can do. They never responded.

This place is so cozy and perfect for a rainy day with a latte. The loft aspect makes this place super unique. As a whole, Prelude really has that modern cozy vibe.

one of the better locations to pick up a cortado or flat white. This is a shared space it seemed and there were plenty of seating options in the spacious floorpan. The barista during my visit was very friendly and you could tell was really wanting to perfect her craft.

Unusual and delightful drink specials amongst the more typical & equally well-made offerings of this pleasant, chill little cafe on the 2nd floor of the 8th st. neo-food hall. Appreciated the unpretentious atmosphere & super sweet, helpful worker too. Quiet enough to study/have low key conversation in, which many were doing when I came by. Nice energy here :)
