They take way too long. I waited for 20 min for a cup of coffee when they weren’t busy. They were just chatting it up.

Delicious and creative coffee specials, tons of really cool local art, and incredibly friendly staff that absolutely made my day to talk to. 1000/10 would recommend.

Came here while on a sojourn from Los Angeles to finish an overdue essay ... the drinks and the space itself did not disappoint!

I was born and raised in Seattle and live in Los Angeles now. Both coffee meccas. I have now been to almost every espresso/coffee shop in Oklahoma City and ordered a cappuccino at each one (including the hipster ones). This stands out as the best. Smoothest coffee still retaining an interesting flavor, and expertly made cappuccino. Highly recommended if you want something legitimate.

LOVE!! Always peaceful and cozy here. The seasonal specials are the classiest, most-mature in the city which makes me feel very cool whenever I get one. The baristas are always incredibly nice and helpful. There's a good variety of seating. Only complaint would be that the plastic chairs at the tables are kind of flimsy and have definitely faced a decent amount of wear. Parking can be a little weird and tight at 8th Street Market, but I've never had any real problems and just park on the street if needed. Thank you!

My past experiences with this coffee shop were positive, but today, one of the baristas was rude, and incredible condescending. Our group was playing Uno within the Praire area. (Which has existed long before Prelude.) People that worked at Praire came by and took our picture, encouraging us to keep playing and enjoying the game! This Prelude barista came down from her shop and was super condescending for over five minutes about us being "too loud while people were trying to study in there coffee shop." If this was a library, or if the building was only a coffee shop, that would be a reasonable request. This is an open air venue. The coffee shop opened knowing that their would be a brewery nearby. People that go to Prelude to study or have coffee know it's a coffee shop by a brewery. Why are baristas chastising neighboring patrons?Completely rubbed me the wrong way. The barista was super rude, and I will never recommend or go to this coffee shop again.

I had to have a working lunch and was referred to Prelude coffee. This was my first visit, and I was very pleased with my coffee and the crumble pumpkin cake was absolutely delicious. This will be a spot we frequent more. Staff was very nice and very helpful with Choosing a drink that fit my style. The ambience was great. It wasn't too loud and we could still talk and get work done. My team will be back.

Stopped in on a rainy Sunday morning. Place was quiet, mostly empty. The cashier was excellent at giving us recommendations for our first visit. My girlfriend had a honey-cinnamon latte and I had a specialty cortado. But were excellent, contended with Elemental and Clarity for best we've had in the city so far. Service was very friendly, and the place was chill. The pastries we had with our coffees were also excellent. We'll be back sometime for sure!

Ordered a plain iced latte. It was decent. Its upstairs in a cute warehouse style foodcourt. I went on a Sunday so everything else was closed. The staff was ok. This is a no frills coffee shop. Nothing bad. Nothing special. Average tasting. Average priced.

Prelude Coffee Roasters is located inside 8th Street Market food hall. It's a unique coffee shop that provides excellent tea and coffee products and special drinks. One of the best feature of of the shop is their tea products are from Urban Teahouse, another favorite tea shop of mine. Their specialty drinks rotate so you might not be able to get them all the time. They also sell their coffee products as well as vintage clothing at the corner of the shop. There is not a lot of options though. I got one of the specialty drinks, the Last Flight Home which is a sweet almond herbal tea from Urban Teahouse with a splash of tart cherry juice. The tea is served with a dressed up Biscoff cookie, which is my favorite feature of this specialty drink. This is how Vietnamese people like to drink their hot tea, with some sort of cookie dessert. Specialty drinks are hits or misses, but you could go with a latte as a safe option. Service is great at Prelude Coffee Roasters. This coffee shop is great for talking and hang out, but would not make a good study spot because there is a bar downstairs and it can get pretty noisy.

Small little shop inside a market in the upper level floor. The people are so nice and they support local artist by selling their work. Their coffee is also great!

Prelude is my new favorite coffee shop! They have great music and the interior is super cute. Every time I visit the staff is always super friendly and make you feel welcome. The coffee and tea are amazing too, they have great espresso. The Joibas tea is great sweetened with honey!!!
