I was really excited to try this place for my birthday today, but I was extremely disappointed. I ordered the Special A set ($25) but asked to swap some rolls for spicy tuna and spicy rolls, then added sashimi. Everything was underwhelming—the rolls lacked flavor and consisted mostly of rice with very little filling aside from fish.
We also ordered fried calamari, a cup of miso soup, and a hibachi plate (which was good), bringing the total to over $80. While the server was kind, they didn’t inform me of any additional charges for ordering individual rolls instead of the set.
I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Japanese sushi.

I ordered hot tea and the water was so cold that the tea bag would not even activate. we ordered fresh raw sushi and we got cooked fried sushi
Our appetizer was edamame and it had freezer burns and was still cold and some of it had gone bad. They didn't even offer gluten-free soy sauce I can get by with that but when you order fresh rolls it should not have cooked food deep-fried fish. Not what I would expected.

First time in. The staff was attentive. The atmosphere was wonderful. The food....amazing. We got the crab Rangoon. I couldn't decide so went with the bento box. I chose chicken katsu and it came with their xl california roll. It was all so delicious.

This was a good spot a while back, unfortunately the place changed as well as the food. The rolls and fried rice lacked flavor. It just wasn't the same . The waitress was nice but food was just not the same. RIP Rock and Roll Sushi.

We’ve been coming here for over a year and we used to love their egg fried rice and rolls. They changed everything. The egg wasn’t even mixed, they just put it on top. Rice had no flavor. The rolls were god awful, no flavor and drenched in sauce.
Everything was horrible. I love sushi and this ain’t it ?

Review for Roll and Rock Sushi
I had the most wonderful experience at Roll and Rock Sushi! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The sushi was absolutely incredible – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a delight, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into each dish.
The customer service was just as outstanding. Chef Dion went above and beyond to make the experience special – he was so kind, welcoming, and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. It’s rare to find a place that not only serves amazing food but also offers such personalized hospitality.
I can’t wait to come back and enjoy another round of delicious sushi. Highly recommend Roll and Rock Sushi to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

This has been our go to sushi for the last 8 yrs, going back to their gas station days. In the last year, we've noticed a turn in the staff:help, but quality still seemed to be good. We dined in Sept 12 and had a great experience despite the owner not being present. Rolls were robust, flavorful, and just like we liked them! Just went for take out today, and it was garbage. Our favorite rolls weren't made like usual; they were tiny, lacking attention to detail, and flavor off. We'd be so sad if we have to find a new sushi place because despite moving, we still traveled across town the last 2 yrs. The owner has always been so kind and attentive to customers, it's definitely not the same place without him there.
What happened to you? This use to be mine and my husband’s favorite place to get sushi. It was once amazing with a variety of different options. We hadn’t eaten here in a few months but thought we go for lunch. The menu was condensed substantially. We stayed though thinking they had to reduce the menu due to the economy. We were both wrong. We got three rolls and a poke bowl. There was hardly any fish in the rolls. They all looked sad and deflated. My husband got the rainbow roll and it was drenched in sauce. I got the Alaska roll, and the skin was still present on the salmon. I’m not a sushi expert but I feel like leaving the fish skin on salmon and placing it in the roll is a huge no no. Also, there was something off about the rice. Overcooked yet undercooked. A very weird consistency, and also way too much of it in comparison to the fish. The service was nice, but the food was too disappointing to give that a good review. Must be under new management because it is not the place we use to know and love. Will only return if the original owner/chef returns. My husband and I know, what we just experienced was not his work.
