Marsha and the rest of the people at Saddle Rock are absolutely fabulous. My wife and I were looking for a home town restaurant several years ago and happened upon Saddle Rock. It has become a regular stop for us and heartily recommend to everyone.
Fun times at Six Flags. Unlimited drinks. People everywhere of all sizes and shapes, hot temps, bouquet of smells, and lines everywhere. And we paid for this.Good thing those kids smiles make it all worthwhile.
We stopped for a late lunch after riding the Flint Hills trail in Council Grove, Kansas. They were getting ready to close but said it would be no problem to service. There were a couple of specials of the day listed but we opted to go with a hamburger and fries. Delicious hamburger on a cheddar and bacon bun and an ample amount of fries were served. The service was excellent and we always enjoy eating in a local diner.
