San Marcos Mexican Restaurant (N. Rockwell)

I hate to say it but this used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant. I hadn't been in a few years and was let down completely this time. Not sure what happened but hopefully it was just a bad day for them.

While on a work trip I placed an order sadly with the wrong location which was my fault. But after only 6 minutes after my order, I contacted the location to ask them to cancel my order and explained my mistake. I spoke with the most RUDE person ever who wouldn't give me his name after telling me they wouldn't refund my money or transfer my order to the right location because it was my mistake. You would think that would be taken into consideration and I usually don't post reviews like this but I want to ensure other people traveling to order from this location don't have similar issues. It's pitiful how disrespectful I was just treated.

The best Mexican food around

Early Sunday dinner with family. Not crowded. Friendly fast service. 5 stars for service. Ordered dinner entrees. LARGE portions. No complaint there. Queso?? and salsa fair. We all felt taste and quality of food was just barely average for the price. Avg. $15.99 per entree. PLUS they charge 3% extra if you pay with card. Totals on my tab did not reflect a discount for paying cash as it should be legally if passing card processing fees on to customers. Cash amount was total of order with tax. Card amount was 3% higher. I paid cash. Always tip well but probably would have tipped more if using card. Probably go elsewhere next time. Wouldn't have bothered to review but the card fee was ridiculous.

Was really surprised by this place. Got faster lunch service here than at most fast food places. Food was really good as well.

If I could rate this food a FAT 0 I would this place is so freaking disgusting nastiest “Mexican “ food I’ve ever had this has to be a joke that people think this place is good

We got to eat and waited for more than 1 hour for our food and they didn't bring us sauce or cheese until after 30 minutes and when they brought the sauce it had cardboard in it.

1 burrito meal and HALF A soup was 33 bucks. Save yourself some money and go to Taco Bell. Really good food though just pricey.

The night before surgery my friends & I ate here. We had the Best time. Good Food, Friendly service beginning thru checkout. I was expecting salsa & chips but To our surprise they also brought Caso And ask if we would like hot tortillas. So Yummy.The food & service was Very Good & if you like margaritas, they were excellence. The one we ate at is located on Rockwell Ave. Ok City Oklahoma.

Eat regularly at San Marcos with friends, but was not happy with food at the Rockwell address on Aug 14 th, 2024. Chips were stale, and cold! They are usually warm. Taco salad was soggy and shredded beef was cold, that I ordered in the salad. Even the salsa was not very good. Others that were with me were not happy either! We ate there about 12:30. Was not super busy, so not sure what was going on. Will most likely pass on San Marcos next time, and go to Chuy’s!

Always outstanding the Deloera family treats every customer with the utmost respect.. If something isn't exactly right feel safe to ask for it to be corrected. Also if not on menu ask it may be an option. The FOOD IS PERFECTION ? ? ?
