First time visiting this place. Absolutely the best breakfast ever! It has that old small hometown diner feel. The coffee is great! You can tell it is made by seasoned waitress, not a kid with a phone in their hand like at the big chain restaurants.

It's like Cheers, "you wanna go where everybody knows your name." That is the feeling you get at Scissortail Diner. My wife and I eat there every chance we get. The food is great, the staff is friendly and the dining room is clean. We like it here!Parking: The handicap spots are literally right outside the entryway. There is enough parking for a much larger restaurant!

This diner has fallen off a cliff. I come every Sunday for 2 years. The last 2 months something has changed. Food is always under cooked. Staff is not attentive and slow. I finally took a break. Came back on 1/14/24 to see if anything has changed. It hasnt. It has gotten worse. Diners beware. You've been warned. This place will be closed soon as their food and service have disappeared

Wish we had a better experience for our first time there. Seats in booths were in terrible condition so we chose a table.The menu isn't big but it looked good. Plenty of servers there and we were only one of 3 tables there so we were stumped as to why no one could get our order correct (we ordered basic menu items without modification) bring utensils, refill our coffee and water or bring the complete order. The food we did get was good. Everyone seemed to be struggling there so I'm not sure what the story was. Maybe we'll go back another time to try it again but it'll be a while. They did credit my meal without my asking since I had to ask for my order (they only brought my al la carte grits). They never managed to get pancakes out to me which were part of the meal I ordered. Pretty frustrating after and hour-ish there.
We love this place! True diner experience. Every time we have people in from out of town we bring them here for brekkie. The waitress (sarah?) is always on top of it and makes us feel welcome. The service is fast, good and consistent. Highly recommend!!
